The hypocrisy has reached weapons-grade levels.
Vice President Kamala Harris is demanding “accountability” for January 6th rioters and former President Donald Trump even as she once infamously promoted a bail fund for race rioters just months before the Capitol riot.
Harris made the comments in an interview with the Associated Press.
“I spent the majority of my career as a prosecutor,” the former California attorney general said. “I believe that people should be held accountable under the law.”
“And when they break the law, there should be accountability,” she added.

Harris Demands Accountability For January 6th Rioters
Harris also commented on the former President Trump, who was recently indicted by Special Counsel Jack Smith on charges related to 2020 election interference and the Capitol riot.
Separately, Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis had Trump indicted over alleged efforts to “overturn” the 2020 presidential election.
Harris believes the rioters and Trump need to face a reckoning for their actions.
“Everyone has their right to their day in court,” she said of Trump facing a trial due to his alleged actions that day. “But absolutely people should be held accountable. Let the evidence, the facts, take it where it may.”

Promoted Bail Fund For Rioters
The first thing that jumps to mind when the Vice President demands accountability is that on June 1st, 2020, exactly 219 days before the January 6th rally at the Capitol, Harris promoted a bail fund for rioters who were setting cities ablaze with their “defund the police” race riots.
“If you’re able to, chip in now to the [Minnesota Freedom Fund] to help post bail for those protesting on the ground in Minnesota,” she wrote on X, the social media platform known as Twitter at the time.

One man freed by that bail fund was later charged with murder. Another was charged with child abuse.
At least they were held “accountable” for their actions … after they murdered and abused somebody.
Not only did Harris promote the bail fund, but Joe Biden’s campaign staff actively promoted their own donations to the Minnesota Freedom Fund on social media.

In an interview with Stephen Colbert that also took place in June of 2020, Harris blatantly encouraged race rioters.

“They’re not gonna stop […] this is a movement I’m telling you, they’re not gonna stop. And everyone beware, because they’re not gonna stop, they’re not gonna stop before election day in November, and they’re not gonna stop after election day,” she said of the summer of violence.
“And everyone should take note of that on both levels, that they’re not gonna let up, and they should not, and we should not,” she continued.
Harris would eventually condemn rioters by calling out the “vigilantes and extremists” who were taking away from the “mostly peaceful” protests.
The hypocrisy of liberals like Harris never ceases to amaze.
