Joy Behar would like the former President Donald Trump to rework his legendary “Make America Great Again” slogan by selling “Make America Gay Again” merchandise for Pride month.

Behar Wants ‘Make America Gay Again’ Merch
The Wrap reported that on Friday’s episode of the ABC talk show “The View,” Behar and her co-hosts talked about the outrage that has poured in over President Joe Biden displaying a massive Pride flag on a White House balcony. Co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin, who previously worked in the Trump administration, shifted the conversation to the Pride merchandise that the former president is currently selling.
“Donald Trump sells Pride merch on his website,” Farah Griffin said as she pulled up two things that he is selling. The first was a t-shirt with a Pride flag on it that read “LGBTQ for Trump,” and the second was a red Trump hat that read “Make America Great Again” in rainbow colors.
That’s when Behar, 80, chimed in to give her thoughts.
“I would like to see those red hats say ‘Make America Gay Again,’” she said. “Then we’re talking, Donald Trump!”
Farah Griffin proceeded to remind her co-hosts that Trump has been a big supporter of the LGBTQ community.
“He actually was going to light up the White House as the Pride flag but opted not to, because it was during the George Floyd protests,” she said. “He’s held a Pride event; the first event he did after announcing his candidacy was speak to the Log Cabin Republicans, a LGBTQ+ Republican group.”
“Not a defense of Donald Trump, just, maybe talk to your king if you’ve got, like, an issue with it,” she concluded.

Behar’s Disdain For Trump
Behar has long been one of the most outspoken attackers of Trump, showing for years that she has one of the worst cases of Trump Derangement Syndrome in the media. In June of last year, she discussed how she thinks “The View” “changed” once Trump took office back in 2016.
“I think that this show really took a change when Trump got in, ’cause we used to have more laughs before he got into office,” she said, accordng to Fox News.
“He’s good material for comedians but I mean he became so scary as a leader, whatever he is, as somebody who is such a threat to democracy, that it became very important that we convey what we felt and thought and read about to the audience,” Behar continued. “And so it became a completely different show. But that’s what happens.”

Behar Defends Biden
Behar has also been an avid defender of Joe Biden, ignoring the many failures of his presidency. After turning 80 in October of last year, Behar bizarrely used her age to defend Biden.
“Joe Biden and I are the same age,” Behar said back in February. “Would you say I could not do my job for the next four years? Of course I can.”
“And the haters can go stick their heads in something, because I’m not moving out of this seat,” she added.

Behar is one of the most ignorantly liberal people working in television today, so her latest comments about Trump and his Pride merchandise unfortunately come as no surprise. In the end, anyone who would even consider listening to Behar’s political rants would never vote Republican anyway, so despite how loud she talks, she’s not really ever going to have any real impact on Trump’s chances of getting reelected!
