Joy Behar Calls For Tucker Carlson To Be ‘Tied Up And Put In The Corner’ – Quickly Adds She Doesn’t Want Him Harmed

On Wednesday’s episode of the ABC talk show “The View,” Joy Behar called for Fox News host Tucker Carlson to be “tied up and put in a corner” for allegedly downplaying the Capitol riots that took place last month.

However, Behar later backtracked by saying that she did not want anything “harmful” to happen to the Fox News personality.

Sunny Hostin Speaks Out

While talking about the Senate hearings over the Capitol riots, co-host Sunny Hostin said, “You have Tucker Carlson on television last night saying that there was no evidence of white supremacists at the riot. Well, the evidence was clear at the riot, at the insurrection.”

“I mean, you had people carrying Confederate Flags. You had Harry Dunn, a Capitol police officer, a black Capitol police officer saying he was called racial slurs at that insurrection. I was disgusted by what Tucker Carlson said,” she added. “How dare he say there was no evidence of white supremacy there? There was evidence everywhere.”

“Tucker Carlson needs to be tied up and put in the corner somewhere, so we never hear from him again,” Behar responded, according to The Daily Beast.

Later in the segment, Behar backtracked by saying, “I don’t mean to imply that anything harmful should happen to Tucker Carlson. I just want him to stop saying stupid things, that’s all. I don’t like to be perceived as someone who is violent in any way. I’m not.”

This comes after Behar accused Trump of “negligent homicide” over the Capitol riots. After claiming that he gave his supporters a “signal to go after Pence,” she pointed out that Trump didn’t share his video address to the mob until hours after the riot took place.

“Now, to me, that is negligent homicide,” she said outrageously. “A cop was killed. Many were injured. Between the Pence act and the mob of the period of time between the assault on the Capitol and when Trump decides to talk and tell them calm down, that is negligent homicide.”
