Biden Bucks Dems: No Basis For Impeaching Trump

Former Vice President Joe Biden bucked the hopes and dreams of many a radical leftist when he told CBS News that he hopes Democrats won’t impeach President Trump.

Biden admits there’s nothing out there to even justify the effort. Of course, that’s making matters worse for those who have been foaming at the mouth over impeachment the moment the resistance party regains control of the House of Representatives – if they regain control.

“I hope they don’t,” Biden responded when asked about impeachment. “I don’t think there’s a basis for doing that right now.”

The comments from a leading contender to face Trump in the 2020 election will come as a surprise to some Democrat lawmakers such as Al Green (TX), Chuck Schumer (NY), and Maxine Waters (CA), the latter of whom made ‘impeaching 45’ her sole political platform for the last two years.

Biden, like other top Democrats pretending they still have control of their sanity, appears to simply be saying any impeachment talk should be scuttled until after the midterm elections.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, for example, said the impeachment option was off the table adding, “I’m not going after it.”

Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) claims the process is “not politically viable” and it’s “too early in the process to be using these words,” while Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) said there isn’t enough evidence.

It’s a tactic they’ve resorted to as a means to placate moderate voters who think the Trump witch hunt is a turn-off, while simultaneously winking to their radical base.

Biden follows suit, claiming the focus “right now” should be on political platforms … at least until the ‘Russia collusion’ probe by Special Counsel Robert Mueller is over.

“There are so many things to attend to immediately,” Barack Obama’s former right-hand man said. “Let’s see where the investigation takes us.”

Oh, and would you look at that: Reports surfaced this week that Mueller is going to make results of his investigation public after the midterms! So, if Dems have won the House and/or the Senate, they could finally reveal their true plans to impeach the President.

What a coincidence.

What else did Biden reveal?

In the same portion of the interview, Gropin’ Joe Biden led onto what other Democrat plans will be following the midterms.

“I think we should focus on all the terrible things that are happening now in terms of interest of the middle-class people and working class people,” he said.

Biden also hammered the administration for “decimating” unions and “eviscerating” the Environmental Protection Agency.

The latter indicates the opposition party will do their best to combat the Supreme Court’s decision to halt mandatory dues for public sector unions, as well as trying to stop the President’s effort to slash onerous regulations that have destroyed businesses and the economy.

The latter … well, Democrats have made it clear that they plan to repeal GOP tax cuts that have actually benefitted working class people.

A kinder, gentler Biden

Biden’s new softer tone is quite the contrast from what we’ve seen in the past. In the CBS interview, not only did he stray from impeachment talk, but he called for civility in politics.

“I don’t want to get down in the mosh pit with these guys,” he said. “I think the American people are desperately looking for leaders to bring them together, not split them.”

Back in March, Biden divided the American people and lashed out at Trump saying: “If we were in high school, I’d take him behind the gym and beat the hell out of him.”

Trump’s response is the stuff of legend …

Just months ago Biden wanted to get in the Octagon with Trump, now it’s all about civility. Don’t buy it. Don’t buy any of it.
