Jennifer Rubin Of The Washington Post Indicates Congress Should Defund Walter Reed For Releasing Trump

Jennifer Rubin

Jennifer Rubin of the Washington Post is known for having what’s arguably one of the worst cases of Trump Derangement Syndrome in the entire mainstream media.

Rubin Targets Walter Reed Medical Center

On Monday, she showed that she still obsessively despises Trump just as much as ever when she called on Congress to consider defunding Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, blasting the doctors there for releasing the president after treating him for coronavirus over the weekend.

Rubin came unglued after Trump took to Twitter to announce that he was leaving the facility.

“I will be leaving the great Walter Reed Medical Center today at 6:30 P.M. Feeling really good!” Trump tweeted. “Don’t be afraid of Covid. Don’t let it dominate your life. We have developed, under the Trump Administration, some really great drugs & knowledge. I feel better than I did 20 years ago!”

This was enough to “trigger” a liberal snowflake like Rubin.

“If he falls ill and relapses or infects anyone else his doctors will be responsible,” she tweeted.

“Is there no one at Walter Reed with the nerve to speak out publicly to warn others and express they objected to this dangerous course of conduct?” she added.

Rubin continued, “After election there’s going to need to be a thorough review and [American Medical Association] will need to consider discipline if appropriate.”

Rubin Targets Walter Reed Doctors

Rubin, who spent years calling herself a “conservative blogger” before changing her description of herself to a “Never Trump, pro-democracy opinion writer,” went on to attack the hardworking doctors at Walter Reed.

“Any MD who publicly endorses this insanity needs to lose his/her license. Period,” she wrote, before adding mockingly, “Oh, Walter Reed MD’s, is your malpractice insurance paid up?”

The most viral tweet from her tirade, however, came about when she said, “Congress might want to defund Walter Reed. It is a public health hazard.”

This tweet was met with widespread criticism from people defending Walter Reed for all the good that the facility does.

One such person was Fox Nation host Johnny (Joey) Jones, a Marine who lost both his legs while serving in Afghanistan.

“As a man who’s only alive today because of relentless work of the men and women saving lives there, to hell with your blind hate,” he wrote. ”

“Shock jock political commentary is for unimaginative agenda driven hacks. You’re not better than that, but we can demand you fix yourself or go away,” Jones added.
