Jeff Flake Announces Yes Vote For Kavanaugh, Immediately Attacked in Elevator By Crazed Protesters

Senator Jeff Flake announced that he’d vote to confirm Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, prompting a group of protesters to surround him in an elevator, blocking any escape for several minutes.

The protesters, two of whom alleged to be a survivor of sexual assault, screamed at Flake, “What you are doing is allowing someone who actually violated a woman to sit in the Supreme Court!”

“Don’t look away from me!” another lashed out. “Look at me and tell me that it doesn’t matter what happened to me, that you will let people like that go into the highest court of the land.”

Flake remained stoic, listening to the outburst and quietly suggesting he had to go while the protesters continued blocking the door from closing.

It has to be a hell of a disappointment for Democrats that a man in Flake, no fan of President Trump or his decisions by any stretch, still believes the right thing to go is cut through the noise and vote to confirm a qualified, honorable man.

Democratic Congresswoman Jackie Speier openly expressed that hope, claiming Flake looked “pained” as he watched Christine Blasey Ford testify.

“I watched their faces very closely,” Speier said. “And Sen. Flake, in particular, has looked very pained. He was pained during her testimony of what happened.”

Sure, it was painful. Nobody wants to hear a woman have to relay a story about sexual assault. But there’s also the reality that Ford has absolutely no proof that it happened, while Kavanaugh along with others allegedly in attendance denies it ever happened.

Thus, it is not a credible threat, leaving Senators to vote from a pure standpoint of qualifications.

“What I do know is that our system of justice affords a presumption of innocence to the accused, absent corroborating evidence,” Flake wrote in a statement. “I will vote to confirm Judge Kavanaugh.”

When you’ve concocted stories, manipulated the American people, and burned the process to the ground the way Democrats have, even a guy like Flake sees through it.

Not to mention there are rumors that some Democrats could even break rank and vote in the affirmative.

Nice job, Democrats. Being so virulently anti-Trump that you manage to help the President get his pick for the Supreme Court seat is a terrific strategy so far.

If you think this was bad, what’s it going to be like when Trump gets to pick one more judge should another vacancy arise during his two terms?
