“American Idol” finalist Jax, isn’t towing the Hollywood/music/sports industry line, saying she finds the chance to perform at the White House to be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
“I think it’s kinda a really unfortunate thing people can’t separate politics and patriotism,” she told TMZ, explaining that her family has a strong military background.
It’s not about her or the President.
“I think it’s about honoring our troops and celebrating the birthday of our country,” she said.
President Trump and First Lady Melania will be hosting a picnic to honor military families on the 4th of July, where singers Jonny Brenns and Sara Evans will join Jax in performing.
“American Idol” finalist @Jax said nothing is going to stop her from performing at The @WhiteHouse on #IndependenceDay, calling the chance a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. https://t.co/iougIQUz5x pic.twitter.com/mtc3k4IUrr

Jax posted an Instagram photo with her brother who is currently serving in the Marines. Her father was a first responder during the 9/11 terror attacks.
“Excited to announce that I’ll be performing at the White House next week!” she wrote. “It’s really an honor to be able to celebrate our soldiers on the 4th of July for an awesome military event.”
“Nothing but good vibes, family, and military under the fireworks.”
And to nobody’s surprise, the anti-Trumpers came out against her in full force. In fact, one unstable individual told her he could no longer listen to her music and that she could, in fact, burn in hell.
hey @Jax , I heard that you are performing at the White House on July 4th this year. that is really too bad, because I have been following your career with great interest, but now that you’ve been outed as a Trumper, you can fucking burn in hell. #UNFOLLOWJAX

To her credit, Jax was fully prepared for the backlash and hammered one pathetic troll with a response that she would perform and be honored no matter who was in the White House.
I would have jumped at the chance to perform for any president. It’s an honor & once in a lifetime opportunity to perform at the White House for a military event, given that my brother is a Marine & father a 9/11 first responder. Telling me to burn in hell seems counterproductive https://t.co/LdH00yUABO

It’s no surprise since the left considers ‘love of country’ to be an embarrassing notion, and they want you to feel ashamed of your country as well.
Good for Jax to step and fight back against the sad, anti-American left.
Jax’s eagerness to perform at the White House is in stark contrast to other celebrities who have declined invitations in recent months. (RELATED: Devante Smith-Pelly Won’t Visit White House If Capitals Win Stanley Cup).
I hope Jax remains strong and will not bow to liberal pressure and cancel her upcoming White House performance.
