Jason Aldean’s Wife Brittany Defends Anti-Woke ‘Try That In A Small Town’ – ‘Never Apologize’

Over the past week, the left has been trying to cancel the country music star Jason Aldean over his anti-woke anthem “Try That In A Small Town.” Now, Jason’s wife Brittany is speaking out to defend her husband in the face of this backlash from the left.

Brittany Stands By Jason

Brittany, 35, took to Instagram to post a photo of herself and Jason as she made it clear that she is firmly standing by her man.

“Never apologize for speaking the truth,” Brittany wrote in the caption.

Newsweek reported that Brittany doubled down on her defense of Jason in her Instagram Story.

“It’s the same song and dance,” Brittany wrote. “Twist everything you can to fit your repulsive narrtive [sic]. How about instead of creating stories, we focus on the REAL ones such as CHILD TRAFFICKING? Food for thought.”

“Man do we love y’all. Free thinkers, lions not sheep… thankful for the support, always!” Brittany later added, according to Fox News.

Liberals Want To Cancel Jason 

Liberals have outrageously claimed that “Try That In A Small Town” is a “pro-lynching” song, and they’ve taken issue with the fact that its music video dares to portray the violence and chaos of the Black Lives Matter riots of 2020. The backlash got to be so great last week that Country Music Television (CMT) pulled the “Try That In A Small Town” music video from its rotation.

Jason immediately fired back by defending his song, saying that it is not racist at all.

“In the past 24 hours I have been accused of releasing a pro-lynching song (a song that has been out since May) and was subject to the comparison that I (direct quote) was not too pleased with the nationwide BLM protests,” he said. “These references are not only meritless, but dangerous.”

“There is not a single lyric in the song that references race or points to it- and there isn’t a single video clip that isn’t real news footage -and while I can try and respect others to have their own interpretation of a song with music- this one goes too far,” he continued. “‘Try That In A Small Town,’ for me, refers to the feeling of a community that I had growing up, where we took care of our neighbors, regardless of differences of background or belief. Because they were our neighbors, and that was above any differences.”

Brittany And Jason Are Proud Conservatives

Brittany and Jason are two of the only celebrities in the entertainment world today who have been unapologetically open about their conservative views. In a 2021 Instagram post, Brittany opened up about the support that she gets from the silent majority for expressing her conservative opinions.

“We get stopped multiple times per day – people giving thanks for speaking out. YOU CAN TOO. We need you more than ever,” she stated. “You’ll actually be surprised at just how much support you’ll receive. As for the haters…. Screw them.”

“They’re the reason we are where we are,” Brittany added. “REMEMBER THAT with every passing comment. We stand with you and support you, ALWAYS.”
