The narrative has always been that President Barack Obama knew nothing about Hillary Clinton’s private email server. At least, according to former President Obama.
In March 2015, when the scandal first began, Obama, said that he learned about Hillary’s private email server “the same time everybody else learned it through news reports.” But did he really? The Inspector General’s report on the FBI’s handling of their investigation into Hillary Clinton’s email server was released yesterday, and it contradicts that very claim.
Not only did Obama email Hillary Clinton on her private server on numerous occasions, the FBI attempted to cover up that very fact. The IG found that Obama was “one of the 13 individuals with whom Clinton had direct contact using her clintonemail[.]com account” reads the report. As the Federalist’s Sean Davis noted, the FBI initially was going to mention that fact when exonerating Clinton, but then decided it would be wise not to include that detail.
The IG found that Obama was "one of the 13 individuals with whom Clinton had direct contact using her clintonemail[.]com account." Now we know why Clinton was never going to be charged with anything related to her secret e-mail scheme. https://t.co/4ERsrp4iga pic.twitter.com/O2EtX8KDis

Obama knew about Hillary's secret e-mail scheme, because she e-mailed him using her private address "while in the territory of a foreign adversary." That finding was removed from Comey's statement exonerating Clinton. pic.twitter.com/vlrYvWqt9f

More damning, however, is proof that the FBI knew very well that Hillary was never going to get charged. The section below from the IG report relates to a witness that the FBI interviewed, who they knew was lying (but lying to help Hillary), so there was no problem.
And in light of proof that the FBI had done everything they possibly could’ve in their power to get Hillary Clinton elected, Hillary decided to respond to the IG report by making a snarky comment about a single finding.
But my emails. https://t.co/G7TIWDEG0p

How hilarious. It’s almost as if she read only a single sentence from the report, and missed the rest of the 500-page report detailing all the improper actions the FBI had in helping get her off the hook. Ironically, one interpretation of the report that Hillary could accurately make is that it’s the FBI agents that tried to help her that ended up torpedoing her presidential aspirations. Hillary has blamed the FBI re-opening their investigation into her emails (before then closing it again) for her loss, and as it turns out, that wouldn’t have happened if it wasn’t for the behavior of anti-Trump factions at the FBI. CNN’s Jake Tapper laid out an interesting case:
9/ But how it played out is the exact opposite. Weiner laptop sat there from September 29 through Oct 27. IG believes the only thing that prompted FBI to finally act on Weiner laptop were "people outside of the FBI" (from US Attorney SDNY) asking about it

15/ In other words, IG suspects Strzok was biased against Trump, and that may have influenced the decision to sit on the Weiner laptop for a month. Which might have ultimately set a course of events in motion that cost Clinton, his preferred candidate, the presidency.

As ironic as that would be, it shouldn’t bother Hillary one bit. After all, she has 1,000 other excuses for her loss regardless.
