Former First Lady Hillary Clinton said the ‘gutsiest’ thing she’s ever done in her personal life was to stay married to Bill Clinton, despite his numerous affairs and accusations of assault.
Clinton was asked the question in an interview on “Good Morning America” to promote a project alongside her daughter, Chelsea, titled “The Book of Gutsy Women.”
“I think the gutsiest thing I’ve ever done — well, personally — make the decision to stay in my marriage,” she revealed.
Clinton – who eats, sleeps and breathes bitterness over the 2016 election – added that in her professional life, running for President was her ‘gutsiest’ move.
“Publicly, politically, run for president,” she continued. “And keep going. Just get up every day and keep going.”
If you consider whining about it perpetually for three years ‘gutsy’ then yeah, she’s spot on here.

To be sure, it is pretty gutsy to show one’s face in public repeatedly trying to convince people that she actually won after one of the most stunning defeats in presidential history.
However, staying in a sham marriage with the context of today’s ‘Me Too’ movement as a measuring stick, while other women suffered at the hands of her husband Bill Clinton, seems a little short of courageous.
There are a host of women who might take umbrage with Hillary’s assessment. Monica Lewinsky may or may not agree with Mrs. Clinton.
Juanita Broaddrick on the other hand, a former nursing home employee who accused Clinton of raping her decades earlier when he was a gubernatorial candidate in Arkansas, might see things differently.
In fact, her story and how she’s come forward about it despite an onslaught of media defending Clinton, seem far gutsier.
You idiot. Every time you open your mouth, another Democrat walks straight to the Republican Party and puts on a Red MAGA hat. https://t.co/pcsXoQiEdV

There were other incidents through which Hillary stood by her man over the years.
Paula Jones, a former Arkansas state employee, sued Mr. Clinton for sexual harassment. Kathleen Willey accused Clinton of assault over a groping incident in 1993. Leslie Millwee, a former television employee, accused Clinton of sexually assaulting her in 1980 when he was governor of Arkansas.
And there are others.
Hillary’s comments echo others she’s made on this book tour, particularly during an interview on “CBS Sunday Morning,” where she praised Eleanor Roosevelt for staying with FDR after she learned of an affair.
“Part of the reason that I admire Eleanor Roosevelt is the way she handled that, happening to her,” Hillary said. “And I say, look, when something happens in your marriage, as I know well, it can be gutsy to leave, it can be gutsy to stay.”
Or perhaps staying is what helped enable Bill to be a serial sexual predator for decades.
