In a dazzling display of the priorities of the Biden administration, the State Department on Wednesday marked ‘International Pronouns Day’ with a tweet offering guidance on why people share their pronouns on social media.
The informational post explains that “sharing pronouns (is) a way of getting to know someone” and “avoids accidentally assuming an incorrect gender.”
Someone was paid taxpayer money to put this together.
They discuss the basic level pronoun assignments – ‘he/him/his,’ ‘she/her/hers’ – but also dabble into those who choose non-traditional pronouns such as ‘they/them/theirs.’
The State Department even makes mention of “pioneering” individuals who use “gender-neutral pronouns such as ze/zir/zirs.”
Today on International Pronouns Day, we share why many people list pronouns on their email and social media profiles. Read more here on @ShareAmerica: https://t.co/gWhoItvGvo.

State Department Celebrates Internation Pronouns Day
This was the State Department.
The STATE DEPARTMENT. Was concerned about this. Enough to post something on social media. Aren’t there more pressing matters?
The Hall of Fame entry in misguided priorities comes following the Biden administration’s disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan.
An effort that led to a suicide bombing killing 13 service members, a retaliatory drone strike by the United States that killed 10 civilians – including an aid worker and 7 children – and countless Americans being left behind in the Taliban-controlled country.
Of course, our country is also facing a massive illegal immigration crisis. Shouldn’t the State Department be laser-focused on working with other nations to stop it?
Americans are still stranded in Afghanistan and our State Department is celebrating “International Pronouns Day,” whatever that is. https://t.co/8oE9vgzjru

A poll late last month indicated that a massive majority of Americans – nearly two-thirds – disapproved of how President Joe Biden handled the withdrawal from Afghanistan.
Two-thirds.
The State Department, however, cited the importance of celebrating ‘International Pronouns Day’ using numbers as well.
“American society is showing acceptance of the trend,” they write. “Nearly 1 in 5 U.S. adults knows someone who goes by gender-neutral pronouns.”
It is almost certain that a poll asking whether or not international affairs such as getting Americans out of Afghanistan or ‘International Pronouns Day’ should be a top priority right now, would yield over 90 percent choosing the former.
Maybe the State Department should have been working on keeping track of the Chinese, so we wouldn’t be surprised by their newly-unveiled hypersonic nuclear-capable missiles?
Just spitballing here.
I guess the U.S. State Department must have solved all the international crises of our era, so American diplomats around the world now have plenty of time to celebrate International Pronouns Day. https://t.co/6fdwpMLDva

Mockery Ensues
Following the State Department’s tweet, mockery ensued not based on their celebrating ‘International Pronouns Day,’ but for skewed priorities.
Richard Grenell, a former State Department spokesman and U.S. Intelligence chief, lamented the politicization of the department under President Biden.
“Dear God. The politicization of my beloved State Department is a crisis,” wrote Grenell. “Anthony Blinken and Wendy Sherman are neutering our diplomats. This isn’t diplomacy.”

“This is what the people in charge of our nation’s foreign policy are working on today,” tweeted Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL).
The GOP House Judiciary was quick to chime in as well writing, “And some people wonder how the Embassy in Afghanistan fell so quickly.”
“THIS is what the State Department prioritizes!?” Representative Ronny Jackson (R-TX) tweeted, citing the Afghanistan situation but also, testing of a hypersonic missile by China and the border crisis. “What is WRONG with these people???”
This is humiliating and it erodes America’s standing in the world.

General Mark Milley, according to reports that surfaced late last month, privately accused the State Department of being responsible for the botched evacuation effort.
An Axios report indicates that multiple sources informed them of a classified briefing with senators in which Milley said department officials “waited too long” to order the evacuation.
A leaked email from an official to a retired Marine attempting to charter private evacuation flights for Americans out of Afghanistan in September shows the Biden State Department refusing to grant approval to use military bases or land in the United States.
Conservative radio personality Glenn Beck also made the claim that his organization was being “blocked” by the State Department in its efforts to rescue Christians from the Taliban in Afghanistan.
“The State Department has blocked us every step of the way,” Beck accused. “The State Department and the White House have been the biggest problem.”

Fox News Channel correspondent Trey Yingst as recently as this week declared, “It’s the 18th of October, and we are back in Taliban-controlled Afghanistan where evacuation flights are continuing. This story is not over.”
“There are thousands of American allies still stuck in the country, along with U.S. citizens and green card holders,” Yingst said.
The State Department might not be interested in rescuing those still in Afghanistan, but they’ll at least be identified by their proper pronouns.
