Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) went on a little foot-stomping “mini-rant” about Democrats not using the term ‘Latinx.’ It’s a word Latinos overwhelmingly reject.
The reasons should be obvious for anyone who knows basic Spanish.
Claiming that language, like gender, is “fluid,” the far-left New York Democrat went after lawmakers who refuse to make use of the woke terminology.
“I also have a mini-rant about this because there are some politicians, including Democratic politicians, that rail against the term ‘Latinx,’” she said in an Instagram story.
“And they’re like, ‘this is so bad, this is so bad for the party,’ like blah blah blah.” continued AOC. “And it’s almost like it hasn’t struck some of these folks that another person’s identity is not about your reelection prospects.”
“Gender is fluid, language is fluid,” the socialist darling of the Democrat Party insisted, adding, “Don’t have to make drama over it.”
The weird thing about the @AOC Latinx rant is that phonetically she is incorrect. In Spanish, the “X” is pronounced “equis”. So she should be saying “Latin-equis, like Dos Equis.
Also gas is at an all time high – thats what you should be ranting about.

AOC Insists Democrats Use the Term ‘Latinx’
People in her district are starting to see gas prices hit and exceed $5/gallon. They can’t locate baby formula in their local grocery store. Inflation has their grocery bill so high that they might have to choose between those items – gas and baby formula – and what dinner they put on their tables.
But in the world of the ultra-privileged, AOC is lecturing her party on the use of the term ‘Latinx.’
A term, by the way, that a 2021 poll indicates is only used by 2% of the Hispanic population.
New poll reported via @politico on “The use of ‘Latinx’ among Hispanic Voters.”

Even worse for AOC’s ‘mini-rant’ is that not only are the overwhelming majority of Hispanics not using the ‘Latinx’ term that she wants white Democrats to use to pander to them, but 40% of respondents said the term flat-out bothers them.
Another 30% indicated they would be less likely to support a politician who used the term ‘Latinx.’
AOC is so book smart she ends up digesting then regurgitating real-world stupidity.
Hey @AOC,
I’m a Latina woman. I’m not Latinx. I’m not Latine. I’m not any form of woke Latina.
I can’t wait to meet you in Congress and let you know exactly how silly you sound.
Probably won’t get the chance as @DesiJCuellar seems to be beating you… pic.twitter.com/wtReIMwJAD

Nobody Speaks Like That
While it’s not certain which Democrat politicians AOC is referring to, one who happens to be the chairman of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, Representative Ruben Gallego, opposes using the term ‘Latinx.’
“When Latino politicos use the term it is largely to appease white rich progressives who think that is the term we use,” he tweeted. “It is a vicious circle of confirmation bias.”
Ocasio-Cortez is probably surprised to learn she’s so woke that it caters to rich, white progressives.
To be clear my office is not allowed to use “Latinx” in official communications.

Legendary Democratic strategist James Carville last year said his party is too afraid to admit it, but “wokeness” is a major issue for Democrats when it comes to messaging.
Carville went on his own mini-rant, railing against “faculty lounge” politicians who “use a different language than ordinary people.”
“They come up with a word like ‘Latinx’ that no one else uses. Or they use a phrase like ‘communities of color,'” Carville lamented.
“I don’t know anyone who speaks like that. I don’t know anyone who lives in a ‘community of color,'” he continued. “I know lots of white and black and brown people and they all live in … neighborhoods.”
Carville explained that he doesn’t have a problem with the phrases and their meaning but rather, that the typical voter doesn’t speak this way.

As if there is currently a Woke Olympics being conducted in Democrat circles, former First Lady Michelle Obama may have captured the gold with her own recent Instagram post which used the completely fabricated term “womxn.”
WOMXN: Former first lady Michelle Obama created a stir on social media Saturday when she used an unusual spelling of the word “women.” https://t.co/k4RyTSUCqS pic.twitter.com/eJ03A0W11A

In a post encouraging pro-abortion voters to take part in the midterm elections, a slide used by Obama read: “State lawmakers will have the power to strip womxn of the right to make decisions about their bodies and their healthcare.”
Democrat women are so woke they can’t define the word nor spell it properly. They believe men can get pregnant. They don’t understand how conception and biology work. They support men competing in girls’ sports. They’re doing their best to erase women.
And they ridicule those who don’t randomly add the letter ‘x’ to certain terms in the hopes of making less than 2% of the population feel all warm and fuzzy thinking it will somehow translate to results at the ballot box.
