Florida Gov Ron DeSantis Threatens To Send Illegal Immigrants To Biden’s Home State Of Delaware

Governor Ron DeSantis suggested sending illegal immigrants to President Biden’s home state of Delaware, a direct response to illegal immigrants being flown by the administration into Florida.

“If they’re going to come here, we’ll provide buses,” DeSantis said of the migrants. “I will send them to Delaware and do that.”

“If he’s [Biden] not going to support the border being secure, then he should be able to have everyone there,” he added.

The governor’s office has reported that more than 70 flights of illegal immigrants have been sent to Jacksonville since the summer.

Biden Flying Illegal Immigrants To Florida, New York

Reports began surfacing in October that the Biden administration was flying plane loads of illegal immigrants from Texas to New York in an effort to resettle them into the region.

In an op-ed column addressing the story, the New York Post editorial board accuses President Biden of “playing a deadly game using secret flights to move migrants.”

The flights were also reportedly going to Florida and White House press secretary Jen Psaki defended the actions being taken, saying it should be “no surprise” they’re doing it.

The issue with illegal immigrants being flown to Florida came to the forefront last week when the New York Post reported that a 24-year-old Honduran national charged with murder had entered the country by claiming to be an unaccompanied minor.

DeSantis Trying To Fight Back

DeSantis placed blame for the murder squarely at the feet of the President.

“Unfortunately there was a tragic situation — one of the illegals that Biden flew in committed a murder in Florida recently,” DeSantis told Fox News host Sean Hannity.

“That individual who died would be alive had Biden not been doing this.”

Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody wouldn’t confirm that the man charged with murder had been on one of the flights.

Governor DeSantis, aside from possibly sending illegal immigrants to Delaware, is looking at a host of options in responding to Biden’s lawlessness.

“We’re looking at what we can do. I think that they use these private contractors. So what we’re looking at is how can we fight back against the contractors,” he said.

“We can obviously deny them state contracts, which we will do,” added DeSantis. “Can we deny them access to Florida’s market generally? Can we tax them? Can we do things to provide disincentives so they can’t do it? So we’re going to do whatever we can to do it.”

President Biden this past weekend angrily insisted illegal immigrants who were separated at the border under the previous administration “deserve” payment for their troubles.

“Now here’s the thing. If in fact because of the outrageous behavior of the last administration, you coming across the border, whether it was legal or illegal, and you lost your child,” Biden said.

He then switched to a more hostile tone, pointing a finger toward the camera and raising his voice.

“You lost your child. It’s gone. You deserve some kind of compensation, no matter what the circumstance,” he shouted.

DeSantis slammed the proposal to pay illegal immigrants.

“You’ve had all kinds of really bad policies throughout our country that has limited freedom,” he said.

“And you’re going to turn around for that, and you’re going to do $450,000 for an individual that came illegally to this country?”
