Even Jerry Nadler Thinks Omar and Tlaib Went Too Far With ‘Vile’ Anti-Semitic Cartoon

Congressman Jerry Nadler, who consistently defends the ‘Squad’ when they engage in controversial comments or actions, ripped two members for sharing the work of an anti-Semitic cartoonist.

Nadler (D-NY) called out fellow Reps. Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar by name in denouncing their actions as a means of contributing to the “growing anti-Semitism in our political dialogue.”

“The Carlos Latuff cartoon forwarded by [Tlaib] and [Omar] can surely be read for its vile underlying message,” he wrote on Twitter.

Nadler, of course, also called out President Trump for his comments regarding “disloyalty” in Jews who would vote for Democrats.

The cartoon shared by the congresswomen featured a Star of David and showed the President trying to silence Omar (D-MN) while Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s puts his hand over Tlaib’s (D-MI) mouth.

Latuff, the cartoonist referenced by Nadler, frequently produces work mocking the Holocaust, comparing Israel to Nazi Germany, and even won $8,000 in the Iran Holocaust Cartoon Contest.

Nadler’s condemnation of Tlaib and Omar is significant, mostly because he is a top-ranking Democrat, but also because prior to this he has consistently defended the ‘Squad’s’ anti-Semitism and hatred for Israel.

Congressman Jerry Nadler, who is Jewish, defended comments by Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) likening holding centers at the southern border to “concentration camps.”

He rushed to the defense of Tlaib when she was taking heat for comments saying the Holocaust gave her a “calming feeling,” and falsely praising the Palestinians for creating a “safe haven” for some Jewish people.

Nadler also famously said he has no issue with Omar’s description of 9/11 being carried out by “some people [who] did something.”

It’s the body of work, however, that keeps getting Omar and Tlaib in trouble and has seemingly led to Nadler finally relenting and calling them out. Their words demonstrate that they are clearly anti-Semites, time and again.

Ilhan Omar

  • Tweeted “Israel has hypnotized the world, may Allah awaken the people and help them see the evil doings of Israel.”
  • Said that Jewish lawmakers “have allegiance to a foreign country” regarding their support for Israel.
  • Tweeted that US support for Israel was “all about the Benjamins” and when she was asked what she meant, she responded “AIPAC!”

Rashida Tlaib

  • Said thinking of the Holocaust provides her a “calming feeling.”
  • Accused pro-Israel advocates of having dual loyalty.
  • Has a long history of associating with terrorists.
  • Supports the BDS movement and posed for photos with a campaign fundraiser who promoted anti-Semitic conspiracy theories.

Fox News host Sean Hannity condemned the Democrats and their media lapdogs for falsely accusing Trump of anti-Semitism, while failing to do the same when it comes to Omar and Tlaib actual bigotry.

“These phony charges are coming from the very same Democratic Party that is the home to two of the most virulent anti-Semites to ever hold public office,” he said of the progressive duo.

“They both need an education about the horrors of what happened in the Holocaust,” Hannity added.

Will Nadler be the one to give it to them?
