If you had to take a wild guess at who the Democratic Presidential nominee will be in 2020, a few obvious contenders come to mind. Bernie Sanders will probably give it another try, and “anti-Trump resistance” warriors like Elizabeth Warren and Kamala Harris seem to be setting the stage for a run. Even Joe Biden might throw his hat in the ring. Among possible celebrity candidates, Oprah Winfrey and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s names have been floated, but both deny they’re going to run.
But honestly, I think “The Rock” has a better chance of scoring the Democratic nomination than the latest person to announce they’re considering a Presidential run. Appearing on Stephen Colbert’s late-night show on Monday, former Attorney General Eric Holder announced “I’m thinking about it and what I’ve said is that I’d make a determination sometime early next year.” He continued, “My focus, really, now is on 2018, the midterms and trying to make sure that Democrats take back the Senate, take back the House, and that we do well, importantly, at the state level.”
The comment came after Colbert inquired about a Tweet that alleged journalist April Ryan sent out last week speculating about a Holder run. Watch below (video should begin at 8:54):
Holder made his announcement to applause from Colbert’s audience, but one can only wonder why. What is there to applause? (RELATED: Tucker Carlson Hammers Dem Rep For Calling on Sessions Resignation, But Not Eric Holder’s). Allowing guns to fall into the hands of Mexican cartels? Radicalizing the Justice Department to push left-wing causes? Failing to investigate the IRS for targeting conservative groups? Obstructing an investigation into his own alleged wrongdoing? Trump would have a lot to criticize if the two were to face off.
Holder hasn’t done much since leaving the White House. He did help Starbucks though during their recent “Racial-Bias Education Day,” which was probably about as effective as he was as AG.
But seriously though, how much Democratic enthusiasm could there possibly be for a Holder presidential campaign? I’m guessing that if he does give it a go, his campaign will be over faster than you can say “furious.”
This man is a part of the deep state and we all know that so his chances are pretty slim or just slime.

I for one don’t want to see one more Democrat or even a Republican that doesn’t care about this country and its people to run again. We have seen two examples of Runners for President…a man whose fruits showed negative actions for 8 years and a man whose fruits showed tons of positive actions within a couple of years. And if no one believes this, I suggest they go back to 2008 and take a stroll down memory lane, because you can find it if you really want to. So, we have a choice, do we want someone who cares and is helping to make this country great or someone who wants to go backwards and see more taxes, less jobs, etc? It’s up to us!

Actually, I think you could say the same thing about any of the potential Democrat candidates. There isn’t one who has a ghost of a chance of beating Trump, no matter what the “fake news” MSM tries to tell us. Trump has, in so many ways, delivered on his promises to Make America Great Again, and not one Democrat will be able to convince enough people otherwise to beat him in 2020. In fact, the Democrat Party has been doing a remarkably good job of adopting the role of the lunatic fringe. What can they possibly campaign on? Make America poor and weak again?
