X CEO Elon Musk poked fun at Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), comparing her to a Native American performer at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
First off, in order to set up Musk’s joke, we have to present you with the bizarre ritual performed at Davos that was making the rounds on social media.
The forum opted to have a segment in which they shared “Indigenous Voices,” which led to one woman in Native American attire literally coughing on panel members. COVID or any other airborne illnesses be damned, apparently.
The ritual left a lot of people wondering just what the hell they were watching as the woman began blowing into her hands and then going to each person seated on the platform to touch their heads and blow on them as well.
Words won’t do it justice. Take a look…
Musk Shreds Warren With Davos ‘Indigenous Voices’ Crack
Perhaps Warren saw the clip from Davos and, channeling her inner Willem Dafoe thought, “I’m something of a Native American myself.”
Or maybe not. Either way, Musk pounced on the clip and delivered a stinging joke about the Senator from Massachusetts.
“Wow, I didn’t know Elizabeth Warren was at Davos,” he quipped.
It’s been well-documented that Warren furthered her career by claiming minority status, listing herself as a minority law teacher for nearly a decade in the ’80s and ’90s.
A Harvard Crimson piece in 1996 described her as Native American, while a Fordham Law Review article in 1997 even described her specifically as a “woman of color.”
They Have A History
Musk and Warren have been engaged in an a-maize-ing war of words for some time.
Warren has a history of going after successful people who attained wealth through hard work and an entrepreneurial spirit. She once famously referred to Musk as a “freeloader” who doesn’t pay taxes.
Musk fired back by saying Warren was “projecting,” pointed out that he had to pay a hefty sum in taxes that particular year, going on to call her “Senator Karen.”
Musk also criticized Warren’s career, saying, “The United States has definitely been harmed by having her as a senator.”
Of that, there is little doubt.
The X chief responded to one user who said of the Native American woman at Davos: “It really is crazy we went from COVID to blowing in people’s faces.”
“Seriously wtf,” he replied.
Hey, it’s better than last year’s entertainment at Davos. Entertainment that provided one of the funniest responses you’ll ever see from one Tucker Carlson.
