Remember When Donald Trump Offered Jennifer Hudson a Home After Her Family Members Were Murdered?

If you’ve watched any mainstream media outlet over the past year, you’d be hard-pressed to come to any conclusion other than President Trump is a downright evil man.

Liberal journalists and politicians have been infatuated with painting the man as a giant racist who dislikes people based on the color of their skin.

Very recently, they went on the attack when Trump dared to call an athlete with a very weak grasp of the English language “dumb.”

The President hammered Lebron James, a basketball player using his fame as a means to divide the country with his hatred of the man in the White House.

Trump responded by labeling James as, well … not the sharpest knife in the drawer.

Democrats were quick to pounce, saying any criticism of a black athlete must be racism, ignoring the fact that Trump also praised Michael Jordan, a non-Caucasian former ballplayer, in the same tweet.

For his part, Lemon proved Trump’s point by saying that labeling someone ‘dumb’ is only racist when it is done to an African-American.

“The president has called a lot of people stupid,” Lemon told his three or four viewers. “Some of those people are white. But I would just like to note that referring to an African American as dumb — remember this is America — is one of the oldest canards of America’s racist past and present: that black people are of inferior intelligence.”

Trump, however, was not always portrayed as a racist on a daily basis by the folks in the media.

In fact, there was one event in particular that led some media outlets to refer to him as having “a heart of gold.”

When three members of Grammy Award-winning singer Jennifer Hudson’s family were murdered in October of 2008, the real estate mogul gave her a place to stay free of charge in Trump Tower and provided security for her and her family.

“She’s a great girl,” Trump said, apparently suppressing his racist urges, “and we’re protecting them well.”

People Magazine reported on the arrangement saying “Donald Trump doesn’t just have the golden touch for business – he also has a heart of gold.”

Now that he’s President, defeated the chosen one in Hillary Clinton, and continues to tolerate nothing from anybody on the left – black or white – stories like this have been moved to the backburner.

Make no mistake, Trump never was nor is he now, a racist.
