Donald Trump Jr. called out Democrat candidate Joe Biden as being unfit to run for President after the former vice president joked to a woman in New Hampshire that she was a “lying dog-faced pony soldier.”
Biden made the statement, which he has previously attributed to a John Wayne movie, after a student asked if he could still be competitive following the Iowa caucus results.
“It’s a good question,” Biden replied. “Number one: Iowa’s a democratic caucus. You ever been to a caucus? No you haven’t. You’re a lying, dog-faced pony soldier. You said you were – but now you got to be honest. I’m gonna be honest with you. It was a little bit confusing in Iowa.”
Not nearly as confusing as using a quote from an obscure movie made decades ago to joke with a college student.

Trump Jr. Responds
While Biden may have been attempting an awkward inside joke that only he understands, Donald Trump Jr. believes this is more evidence that the top Democrat candidate is unfit to face his father.
“If he can’t handle a simple question from one of his own supporters, how can Joe Biden possibly take on Donald Trump one on one for six months?” he asked.

Others chimed in on Biden’s odd comment.
“Calling someone a ‘lying dog-faced pony soldier’ isn’t exactly the way to convince people to vote for you,” wrote Beth Baumann, an associate editor with Townhall.
Ricochet editor-in-chief Jon Gabriel joked, “Biden’s never polled well with the lying dog-faced pony soldier demographic.”

What is He Talking About?
Believe it or not, this isn’t the first time Biden has used the phrase, previously attributing it to a line in a John Wayne movie.
At a rally for former Democrat Senator Heidi Heitkamp in November of 2018, Biden used the quote in an attempt to explain why a Republican lawmaker should be beaten up.
“As my brother, who loves to use lines from movies, a John Wayne movie, there’s a good line in a movie, a John Wayne movie where the Indian chief turns to John Wayne and says ‘this is a lying dog-faced pony soldier,'” Biden claimed.
TMZ reports that the line didn’t come from a John Wayne flick at all, and is more likely from the 1952 Tyrone Power film called “Pony Soldier.”
Not only is he presenting this college student with a ‘how do you do fellow kids’ moment, but he can’t even get the movie right.
Biden’s odd statement comes just two weeks after he was caught on video poking an Iowan voter in the chest and telling him to “go vote for someone else.”
Bold strategy to continually insult voters in an attempt to earn their votes. Maybe it’ll work out for him.
