In a weekend appearance on MSNBC, Representative Al Green insisted that issues of racism and slavery need to be addressed during the impeachment process.
Green’s statements are yet another indication that, while Democrats have claimed they would focus narrowly on the Ukraine aspect, they are going to lump in as many tangential topics as possible in pushing the impeachment sham.
“I … think that if we don’t include some of the things that are important to people of color, then I think that our business won’t be finished,” Green told host, Alex Witt.
“I do believe, ma’am, that we have to deal with the original sin,” he added. “We have to deal with slavery. Slavery was the thing that put all of what President Trump has done lately into motion.”

Green Has Lost It
Think about what he just said – Donald Trump is the end result of slavery in America. The slavery that nobody alive today has experienced or implemented. Talk about a leap in logic.
And Democrats want the American people to take them seriously.
“The president has played on racism, and he’s used that as a weapon to galvanize a base of support, to mobilize people,” Green stated without evidence.
The Texas congressman wasn’t finished there.
He proceeded to suggest impeachment must also address “discrimination as it relates to LGBTQ community, the antisemitism, the racism, the Islamophobia, the transphobia, and also the misogyny” he believes emanates from the Trump administration.
In other words, because the President uses coarse language in discussing his views, then he must be punished for having those views.
Trump is none of those things, but if antisemitism, racism, and misogyny are impeachable offenses, there is going to be a boatload of Democrats out of work.

The Original Impeachment Shill
Green has been harping on impeachment from day one, perhaps even more so than his radical colleague Maxine Waters.
He’s not only threatened it, but he’s taken action long before the extremists in the party took over and Democrats coalesced around the latest impeachment scams.
In 2018, Rep. Green flat-out told voters that if the resistance party were to take back the House, this is the path they would pursue.

Green was perpetually humiliated by bringing up impeachment votes and having them shot down repeatedly.
That was just over one year ago. Now this man, who believes Trump needs to be impeached because of slavery, is the mainstream in the Democrat party.
