Trace Adkins is famous for great cowboy songs and funny tunes such as the “Honky Tonk Badonkadonk.” But now, he is serious about supporting the troops like any real Southerner would do. After watching this video (below), it’s clear Adkins loves our troops far more than Obama.

The hit song “Arlington” was inspired by the death of Marine Corps Corporal Patrick Nixon who died in battle in 2003. Adkins clearly has profound respect for the countless sacrifices the men and women of the military make every day to defend our freedoms around the world. You have to love this song:

Thank you for supporting the troops Trace! Their sacrifices rarely make headlines, and we’re all praying for the Marines we lost in Chattanooga thanks to an Islamic terrorist attack.
