James Comey Cited Bogus Anti-Trump FBI Dossier to Spy on Campaign Official

Things haven’t been looking up for Hillary Clinton’s credibility lately.

First, this month came revelations that Hillary had no issue in the past colluding with the Russians – something she hasn’t stopped accusing President Donald Trump of. As we reported last week about the Clintons’ mysterious uranium deal with Russia“the Obama administration was well aware that the Russians used bribery, kickbacks, and extortion to get a stake in the U.S. atomic energy industry, but still approved the 2010 deal giving Moscow control of one-fifth of America’s uranium. And not only did the Obama administration know about the crimes – they actively covered them up.”

And who had a seat at the government agency responsible for approving the deal? Hillary Clinton, of course as secretary of state. Meanwhile, “coincidentally” around the same time a Kremlin-linked bank funneled millions of dollars into the Clinton Foundation, and paid Bill Clinton $500,000 in speaking fees.

Then came the revelation from The Washington Post last night that it was the Hillary Clinton campaign and DNC who helped fund the notoriously discredited anti-Trump dossier that was so ridiculous only Buzzfeed published it.

Buzzfeed even mentioned at the time of publication that the claims made within the dossier were unverified, and they were quickly discredited. Still, former members of the Clinton campaign, and Hillary herself in her book “What Happened,” complained that the dossier wasn’t leaked sooner.

And now, making matters worse, new information completely debunks Hillary’s oft-repeated talking point that former FBI Director James Comey had some kind of vendetta against her. According to the Gateway Pundit, “Clinton campaign and DNC lawyer Marc Elias and his law firm Perkins Coie paid Fusion GPS to continue researching Trump after a Republican donor who originally funded the research pulled out in April 2016.”

Here’s the kicker: “The Comey FBI used the largely debunked Trump dossier, which alleged Russian ties to the President’s campaign associates, to convince a judge to grant them a FISA warrant, allowing them to secretly monitor Trump campaign official Carter Page.”

The Washington-based publication The Hill actually reported back in April that “FBI Director James Comey has cited the dossier in some of his briefings with lawmakers in recent weeks as one of the information sources used by his bureau to bolster its probe, U.S. officials briefed on the investigation told CNN.”

What do you think? Did the infamous dossier play a key role in Comey getting a FISA warrant to spy on Trump? Tell us your thoughts below and share this story on Facebook now!
