CNN’s Jake Tapper Shares Tweet Calling Trump ‘100% Insane’

Tapper Trump

CNN anchor Jake Tapper accidentally revealed his bias against the President, sharing a tweet that called Trump “100 percent insane” with nobody in the administration willing to tell him.

George Conway, husband of White House counselor Kellyanne Conway and rabid anti-Trump lawyer, posted the sentiment to his social media followers.

“He’s 100% insane,” Conway wrote, “and nobody in the administration has the balls to tell him that.”

There is a rich irony in the fact that a man desperate for attention these past few years would argue that anybody else is lacking in that area.

Tapper Retweets

The CNN anchor retweeted Conway’s message. And while we all know a retweet is not an endorsement, it’s questionable at best as to why Tapper would choose to amplify such a message with his followers.

Media Research Center news analyst Nicholas Fondacaro noticed Tapper had shared Conway’s tweet and wrote, “This is the kind of crap [Tapper] retweets.”

“He’s not a journalist, he’s an anti-Trump activist,” he added.

Anti-Trumper

Anybody who has watched the progression of Tapper’s career from relatively level-headed ABC News reporter to the star of the CNN resistance would agree with Fondacaro.

In 2018, during an interview with Tapper, reporter Julia Ioffe alleged that “this president [Trump] has radicalized so many more people than ISIS ever did.”

The comment, as reported by The Wrap, “received no pushback from Jake Tapper, but sparked outrage form pro-Trump panelist David Urban.”

More Recently

More recently, Tapper accused President Trump of telling the nation “many lies” that may have affected the lives of Americans during the coronavirus crisis.

“In keeping with the many lies, he has told the nation in order to downplay the virus and its risk,” Tapper claimed adding, “there is no way of knowing how many lives were affected by that false sense of security that the president projected.”

You mean the President attempted to quell panic? What a terrible person!

In reality, a vast majority of Americans, according to multiple polls, show an overwhelming approval of how the President is handling the coronavirus outbreak.

Perhaps that’s something Tapper should retweet.
