Could liberals be any more transparent that minorities are just political pawns to them – useful only as long as they vote Democrat? It’s on full display anytime a minority takes a remotely conservative opinion. Kanye West’s embrace of President Donald Trump provides a stark, shocking example. On CNN earlier this week, West was branded a “token negro” and “what happens when negroes don’t read” because of his support for the President.
The comments came during a panel discussion about West being invited to the White House by President Trump.
“Kanye West is what happens when — Kanye West is what happens when negroes don’t read, and — and we have this now. And now, Donald Trump is going to use it and pervert it. And he’s going to have somebody who can stand with him and take pictures,” said commentator Bakari Sellers.
Ready to one-up the insanity, commentator Tara Setmayer claimed West is Trump’s “token negro,” and said:
“Black folks are about to trade Kanye West in the racial draft.” She said “What’s funny to me is to watch all these white people behind Trump clapping away at the name of Kanye West when it wasn’t that long ago that Kanye West said that George W. Bush doesn’t like black people after Hurricane Katrina. And you know – now all of a sudden because Kanye’s put on a MAGA hat and he’s an attention whore like the president, he’s all of a sudden now – he’s the model spokesperson? He’s the token negro of the Trump administration? This is ridiculous.”
Dismissing a black man for a single opinion is something that would get anyone else branded a “racist” on CNN – but they don’t apply the same standard to themselves.
Watch below, and quickly discover why CNN is being beaten in the ratings by children’s cartoons:
There is evidence that Kanye West is boosting black support for Trump, and that must have CNN terrified.
To call this “subtle racism” would be a disservice. This is explicit liberal racism. Had someone made identical comments about a black person who supported Democrats, CNN would be among those making sure that commentator would never be employed again.
In a rare occurrence, sanity managed to prevail over on Twitter, whereas most savaged CNN for airing such racist and dismissive comments.
Anti-intellectualism isn’t cool? I think Kanye just won 2024. https://t.co/KKbCrYZ8gX

Last night on @CNN, Kanye West was called a “token negro” and a “dumb negro”.
I want you guys to imagine if those words were EVER uttered on @FoxNews.
CNN has finally committed to going full blown RACIST.

This is an absolutely shameful segment on @DonLemon’s show last night about Kanye West, and if a similar segment occurred on Fox News about a liberal black person, CNN would be covering it as major news, rightfully so: https://t.co/MF4Pw90lhc pic.twitter.com/gKAiRpKizS

CNN: It’s okay to bring a black person on TV to call Kanye West a “token negro”, but it’s NOT okay for a reformist Muslim to call Islamic terrorists terrorists. pic.twitter.com/yJDIXv9G5w

Kanye wants to talk to President Trump about jobs, prison reform, and preventing gang violence in Chicago.

To be honest, I don’t know what CNN was thinking with this one. Could they be any more transparent that minorities only matter to them for their votes? Hopefully their viewers took note.
