CJ Pearson, a self-described “youngest nightmare” against the left, challenged environmental activist Greta Thunberg to a debate on climate change following an announcement that she was named Time Magazine’s 2019 Person of the Year.
CJ Pearson Challenges Greta Thunberg To Debate
Editor-in-chief and CEO of Time, Edward Felsenthal, announced Thunberg’s accolade on Wednesday morning.
“For sounding the alarm about humanity’s predatory relationship with the only home we have,” Felsenthal tweeted, “for showing us all what it might look like when a new generation leads.”
CJ Pearson was seemingly not impressed.
“[Greta] – teen to teen – let’s meet on the battlefield of ideas and debate the merits of your claim that climate change is the existential crisis you characterize it to be,” he challenged.

No handlers. No talking points. Just substance.
What do you say?

What Is Time Magazine Thinking?
While protesters in Hong Kong are fighting for democracy ‘until we win or we die,’ Time opted to prop up a teenaged global warming alarmist best known for overly emotional demands and hyperbolic whining.
Her temper tantrum in front of the United Nations General Assembly in September was the stuff of legend – or awkwardness.
“I shouldn’t be up here,” she said at the time, perhaps the only truth she told that day.
“I should be back in school on the other side of the ocean. Yet you all come to us for hope. How dare you! You have stolen my dreams and my childhood with your empty words!”
Well, Greta, you’ve stolen at least thousands of brain cells and three minutes of time having to watch that video for research purposes. But I digress.

Just How Bad Was 2019?
An easily more important individual upstaged Thunberg at the UN this year, an incident that made the teenager red with anger.
Video emerged of Thunberg with a sour look on her face as President Trump stole the show while she awaited her entrance.

Judging by Thunberg’s award, one could reasonably assess that 2019 was a really, really bad year for the world.
Couple that with foul-mouthed U.S. Soccer star Megan Rapinoe winning Sports Illustrated’s Sportsperson of the Year, and 2019 almost seems like a lost cause.
Here’s hoping CJ gets a debate with both of these ‘people of the year’. Unfortunately, given how sharp CJ is, it’s unlikely that these liberals will take him up on his challenge.
Pearson raised his public profile at a very early age when he posted a YouTube video as a twelve-year-old calling out Barack Obama for politicizing a shooting at the Emmanuel AME Church in Charleston, South Carolina.
Obama used the tragedy, as he was known to do, as a means to further his gun control agenda.
