Chilling Details Emerge About Plot To Kidnap Gretchen Whitmer

Disturbing new details have come to light about the alleged plot to kidnap Michigan’s Democratic Governor Gretchen Whitmer.

New Details Emerge In Whitmer Kidnapping Plot

A judge heard on Tuesday that the militia group that targeted Whitmer had discussed having someone pose as a pizza delivery guy before killing her, according to the New York Post.

“Have one person go to her house, and when she answers, just cap her,’’ suspect Daniel Harris allegedly texted his comrades, referring to Whitmer. “At this point, just f- -k it.”

Harris, who went by the codename “Beaker,” also suggested that the shooter disguise himself first.

“Mug the pizza guy and take his shirt… to pose as a pizza guy, and when she answers the door, just take a pistol and three rounds,” he reportedly wrote.

FBI Agent Richard Trask testified that another suspect named Ty Garbin became so worried that the feds were tapping their phones that he suggested they start wearing tin foil hats. Many conspiracy theories believe that tin foil can interfere with cellphone reception, even though there is no truth to this.

Suspects Had Another Target As Well

The judge was told that the suspects spent the summer months plotting Whitmer’s kidnapping and murder after becoming infuriated over her strict coronavirus lockdown measures. Whitmer also was not the only governor they considered targeting, as they plotted against Virginia’s Democratic Governor Ralph Northam as well.

“They discussed possible targets, taking a sitting governor, specifically [over] issues with the governor of Michigan and Virginia based on the lockdown orders,” Trask added.

The FBI agent went on to say that the members of the militia practiced speed-loading their weapons and packing devices designed to explode with shrapnel. They also exercised surveillance of Whitmer and planned to firebomb police cars to prevent a rapid response to their attacks.

This comes as U.S. Magistrate Judge Sally Berens is hearing arguments on whether or not to release three of the suspects on bond. Another two suspects are scheduled to appear in court for a similar hearing on Friday.

Whitmer And Northam Try To Blame Trump

News broke last week of the plot to kidnap and murder Whitmer, much to the shock of Americans everywhere. Both Whitmer and Northam have implied that President Donald Trump and his rhetoric are somewhat to blame for these plots, but White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany has shot that down.

“Trump has continually condemned white supremacists and all forms of hate,” she said, according to Fox News. “Whitmer, and now Governor Northam, are sowing division by making these outlandish allegations. America stands united against hate and in support of our federal law enforcement who stopped this plot.”
