Britney Spears Bizarrely Dances With Knives In Skimpy Outfit – Fans Concerned

Fans are worried about Britney Spears after she posted a disturbing video of herself dancing with knives while wearing very little clothing on social media on Monday.

The New York Post reported that Spears, 41, took to Instagram yesterday to post a video of herself dancing with two very sharp-looking kitchen knives in her California home to an unknown song.

“I started playing in the kitchen with knives today,” she wrote in the caption. “Don’t worry they are NOT real knives.”

“Halloween is soon,” Spears ominously added.

Spears’ dogs can be seen approaching her during the video, but they scurry away as soon as the “Oops I Did It Again” singer clangs the knives together. Check out the video, which has been viewed over 223,000 times at the time of this writing, below.

Fans Concerned 

Social media users were quick to express their fears for Spears in the comments section of the video.

“This is terrifying. Those are definitely not fake knives,” one social media user commented, with another adding, “I know she said they are fake but those things be CLANGING.”

“Are they fake tho they sound stainless steel to me but maybe they’re not sharp idk,” a third user wrote. A fourth person commented, “I’m SO sorry but this is Not OK.”

This came after it was claimed in the TMZ documentary “Britney Spears: The Price of Freedom” that Spears has had a “fascination with knives” for years. TMZ founder Harvey Levin claimed in the documentary that Spears lives “in mortal fear” that someone will come to her house in the middle of the night, “strap her to a gurney and take her to a psych ward.”

A source close to Spears claimed that she lives in “constant fear” of being “re-institutionalized” after she was involuntarily hospitalized twice in 2008 and was sent to a mental health facility in 2019.

TMZ executive producer Charles Latibeaudiere alleged that Spears’ handlers were given a “recommendation” to “keep knives away from” when her 13-year conservatorship came to an end in November of 2021 after a widespread “Free Britney” campaign was launched by fans, according to NPR.

Spears’ Divorce

This also comes one month after Spears announced that she is divorcing her estranged husband Sam Asghari following six years with him and less than one year of marriage.

“6 years is a long time to be with someone so, I’m a little shocked but … I’m not here to explain why because its [sic] honestly nobody’s business !!!” she wrote on Instagram on August 18. “But, I couldn’t take the pain anymore honestly!!! In some sort of telepathic way I have been receiving so many messages that melt my heart from friends and I thank you !!!”

It has since been reported that members of Spears’ inner circle are concerned about her mental health.

“Some people are of the opinion that Britney’s on a dangerous downward spiral,” a source told US Weekly last month. “And the stuff she’s been [doing] hasn’t done much to dampen that worry. The concern for Britney’s welfare right now is off the charts.”
