Notorious Playboy White House correspondent and CNN contributor Brian Karem reported Monday that police in Montgomery County, Maryland were investigating another assault allegation against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, but county officials swiftly denied the claim, further proving that liberals are fabricating assault allegations in an effort to derail Kavanaugh’s confirmation.

Karem made the outrageous claim in The Sentinel Newspapers, which operates local newspaper The Montgomery County Sentinel. “Investigators in Montgomery County confirmed Monday they’re aware of a potential second sexual assault complaint in the county against former Georgetown Prep student and Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh,” Karem wrote.  “While investigators weren’t specific and spoke on background, they said they are looking at allegations against Kavanaugh during his senior year in high school after an anonymous witness came forward this weekend.”

However, in the wake of the report’s publication, legitimate journalists investigated Karem’s lead – and found that it was a complete and total fabrication. The Montgomery County Police Department subsequently issued a statement Monday afternoon that they were never contacted “by any alleged victim nor a victim’s attorney to initiate a police report or a criminal investigation regarding Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.”

Leftists have officially lost the plot, ladies and gentlemen.

Unfortunately, this is par for the course for Karem, who in June 2017 whined to anyone who would listen after Sarah Huckabee Sanders shut him down for badgering her at a White House press conference. At the time, Playboy lauded him for “(standing) up for free press.”

Prior to that, Karem was actually fired from local Texas news station KMOL-TV after he spoke disrespectfully to then-President George H.W. Bush and the leaders of several Latin countries at a drug summit press conference in February 1992.

As Donald Trump would say, Brian Karem is fake news. If he were a legitimate journalist, he would have been hired by someone other than Playboy and CNN.
