This report should make Donald Trump supporters angry! While taxpayers are often funding political debates, the Republican Party has the ultimate say over its own events. And while the GOP is supposed to stand for the principles of the Founding Fathers, it can be manipulated by the political establishment which can’t stand Trump’s conservative views.

The real reason why the GOP is focusing on Trump’s threat to run as a 3rd party candidate is it would give them grounds to boot him from future debates. The Republican Party, to protect its interests, is probably willing to boot the front-runner candidate. And they have savvy enough operatives, such as Karl Rove, who are ready to do it…
As Ben Swann explains:
Billionaire and 2016 presidential candidate Donald Trump makes new headlines every day. But something he said that he wouldn’t do during the first Republican debate could reveal some major problems with the debate system.
Could the GOP ban Trump from its next debate?
The first Republican debate one week ago opened with a question specifically for Trump. Per Bret Baier:
“Who is unwilling tonight to pledge your support to the eventual nominee of the Republican Party and pledge not to run an independent campaign against that person? Raise your hand now if you won’t make that pledge tonight.”
Trump was the only candidate who said that he might run as an independent if he doesn’t get the GOP nomination. Not only is that a difficult path to take, but also an expensive one. Trump is probably the only candidate running who could afford to launch an independent campaign.
Because Trump said he would not rule out running as an independent candidate, the Republican National Committee (RNC) has now said it could ban Trump from the next debate if he won’t make that pledge.
RNC Chairman Reince Priebus has since directly requested all Republican candidates to pledge that they will not make a third-party run, according to ABC News. Those who do not pledge might not get an invite to future Republican candidate debates, and would likely be restricted from accessing party data on Republican voters.
If Trump is polling at twice the numbers of his closest challengers and as much as five times the numbers of seven of the top 10 candidates—which he is—then how could the RNC ban him from debates? Can that really be done?
The answer is yes. The RNC, just as the Democratic National Committee (DNC), is considered a private club. They make their own rules. The DNC isn’t holding a single debate until October—something that candidates like Martin O’Malley aren’t happy about. But there’s nothing they can really do.

Since many conservatives vote Republican to support our free-market, smaller-government agenda… This is sad news. The Republican Party needs to leave this critical decision up to voters. There is clearly a top front-runner (Donald Trump!) who is leading every poll by historic margins. He should be allowed to continue making his case and speaking freely… But The Donald MUST be allowed in every debate.

hillary can ask say anything to Trump but if Trump says something its all hell brake loose?Again we find after Holt staging in first debate today the moderators today as expected CNN crew under Hillary pay for play interrupted so many times while Hillary was not touched and its so funny she could not remember anything about bengazzi emails etc but she remembers every detail which happened with Trump 20 years ago.But still Trump clearly won the debate.she calls herself commander of chief but could not take care of 5 soldiers who were being attacked from all sides how is she going to take care of the whole army/ so now its time the GOP behaves like adults cause trump is back on trail
The Presidential Elections are becoming really laughable. The whole world looks on as who gets into the White House has a huge effect on many countries including mine. New Zealand. It should be taken very seriously and I cannot believe that someone like Donald Trump has been nominated to represent his party, the republican party. He is truly erratic and racist. Not becoming the ethics of an American President. I could say more but much has already been said.
If they do this , there will likely be a revolt. Americans are already pissed off at Washington. our government is supposed to be of the people, by the people and for the people. the People are tired of the crap!and we have been preparing for this. go ahead and start a civil war! I’m too old to fight but I can still be a cheerleader.

why don’t the RNC and the DNC and dump both Trump and Clinton and nominate Ryan and Binden to run in November? SAVE AMERICA!

The Donald Is a Career politician just because he hasn’t held any office that is visable does not mean he is a Non Politician.
What was Donald Trump, an 18-year-old Fordham freshman, doing in a select crowd of celebrities?
The answer is that Trump’s entire life has been marinated in politics. His father, Fred Trump, made millions building apartments in Brooklyn and Queens. It didn’t hurt, when it came to land assembly and public subsidies, that he was a key supporter of Brooklyn machine Democrats and a close friend and ally of Abraham Beame, city comptroller in 1964 and later mayor.
A decade later, Donald Trump, at 28, basically took over the family business and focused it elsewhere. New York City, plagued by violent crime and high taxes, lost 1 million people in the 1970s. Building apartments in the outer boroughs was looking like a sucker’s game. Getting a toehold in Manhattan at the market’s trough, to profit when it glittered again, looked like — and was — a winner.
It helped that Beame was elected mayor in 1973 and that Hugh Carey, for whom the Trump family provided major financial backing when he was an underdog in the primary, was elected governor in 1974.
Donald Trump wangled a stake in the Commodore Hotel next to Grand Central Station using, as big developers do, OPM (other people’s money) with key assists from the Beame and Carey administrations.
Trump’s lavish self-praise and wild unpredictability, masking his long-developed political acumen, makes him seem a unique political figure in American history. But maybe not completely unique.
Newt Gingrich compares him to Andrew Jackson, rich and smarter than generally thought, but regarded as a dangerous wild man by his predecessors Thomas Jefferson, James Madison and James Monroe.
They were justifiably worried: President Jackson abolished the Bank of the United States, which the latter two supported, and, with the Indian Removal Act, ruthlessly shipped Native Americans West in a way Jefferson, Madison and Monroe never contemplated.
Another comparison is to Huey Long, the Louisiana governor and senator whose “Every Man a King” became a national bestseller. Franklin Roosevelt regarded him as a dangerous, possibly fascist rival. New Deal historians say FDR supported redistributionist taxes and Social Security to outflank him.
Long was a brilliant man who built a Mississippi River bridge, a state capitol and Louisiana State University in just months’ time. It would be tantalizing to know what voters at the time thought of him. Unfortunately, he was murdered in September 1935, a month before Dr. Gallup conducted the first random sample scientific poll.
I submit another as Trump’s precedent, a man on that podium in November 1964: Nelson Rockefeller. Rockefeller was considered an establishment Republican, but he operated entirely, as the title of Richard Norton Smith’s magisterial and compelling biography of him says, “On His Own Terms.”
e was sometimes lavishly liberal (his Medicaid program spent one-quarter of national funds), sometimes harshly conservative (mandatory sentences for drug offenses). He spent enormous sums building Albany’s Capitol Mall and a state university system intended to rival California’s. He raised taxes so much that someone said he spends the people’s money as if it were his own.
Rockefeller was richer than Trump, a more gifted art and architecture patron and less given to boasting. He had a much longer public career, from running FDR’s Latin American desk to being Gerald Ford’s vice president. But through all that, he was regarded by insiders as an unguided missile, not subject to institutional constraint, seeking power to do whatever he wanted.
Rockefeller was elected governor when Donald Trump was 12 and served until Trump was 27 and about to make his jump to Manhattan.
So as you can see Donald Trump is a veteran Politician!
Does Trump have “conservative views”? He’s watered down if not reversed everything he’s promised in his campaign. Everything except perhaps the wall, which engineering has stated is technically unfeasible and cost prohibitive (which gives him another out, of course).
Oh, so this is going to make Trump supporters “angry”? Be serious. At this point the Republican debates are a giant waste of time. Everything that’s going to be said HAS been said. What possible audience could the RNC draw in a debate between the two 2nd bananas? The RNC isn’t going to deep-six Donald Trump – not with millions of witnesses waiting to exit the Republican Party, if the try.
Look at this web site, it is like a tabloid junk mag the house wives pickup by the checkout counter of a cheap supermarket. Should be called “politcal-LIAR
“
ok Trump i would rather vote for than anyone else… why? he is not a career politican ok, secondly if u think voting for trump or republican is stupid check this clinton and bernie sanders are good runners think about this, they claim “socialist democrat” that is literally an oxymoron they want the select few in gov to be loaded rich and everyone else including the 99% and 1% to be flat broke sooo next time ur like oooh we need to keep it the way it is, think about it, we are now iving with half the freedoms we started with more and more taxes
we moved from england due to a taxation without representation because taxes went outrageously to 6% lmfao really cmon
I’ve read several of these posts, and frankly this would be a devastating blow to democracy, the American people, supporters of Donald Trump and would possibly cause a political civil war on the eve of the RNC convention. If I were Reince Preibus and the GOP I would BE VERY CAREFUL.of their actions.
Ami, like so many, you are drinking the kool-aid fed to you by a biased media. I would strongly suggest you cross check what you believe to be the facts.
Yes, it is a devastating blow to democracy every time someone is harassed, bullied and sometimes even assaulted at a Trump rally by a Bernie Sanders supporter. Yes it is a devastating blow to democracy when Trump is holding his OWN event, and the far left with media matters feels it’s their right to shut down the first amendment right of those who disagree with them. Lets talk about every time a astroturf protester acts like a 4 year old at a Trump event, doing everything they can to be as disruptive and destructive as possible. They are there under their right, but as a private event, Trump has every right to kick them out, unless the event is being held in a public space, most often it is not. Also, where are the calls for Bernie Sanders to condemn the acts of violence of his followers? Oh, that’s right, he doesn’t have to, because he is a Democrat, the media gives him a free pass. It’s okay to be violent, if you’re a democrat.
Devastating blow to Democracy? You know what is a devastating blow to Democracy? Every time someone is harassed, bullied and sometimes assaulted at a Trump rally. If you want to talk about Democracy lets talk about every time someone challenges him and he reacts like a four year old and shouts for them to be licked out. They are their under their constitutional right just as much as everyone else there. And speaking of constitutional, almost everything that comes out of his mouth is UNconstitutional. If you don’t see this then I’m sorry.
Thus HAS TO BE AN OLD STORY someone, trying to call trouble, dredged up from the archives. Notice the mention of O’Malley who is not even still in it.
That would be ABSOLUTELY DISASTROUS for the Republican Party to deny any candidate a spot on the Debates when they are polling large numbers. That sounds like a tactic that would only favor the Democrats and is even STUPID to mention,
I don’t believe everything I read on the Political Insider. They have been known to not tell the truth.
From where I sit upon life and awareness of those around me I see panic in the eyes of those who are Democrats, immigrants and status quo Republicans. I have a few immigrants under employ, who are now American citizens. For years past they have helped others from their country migrate here. One returned home (his country) for vacation (?????) slightly panic like in a hurry to accomplish a goal. (seems strange when they tell me of how their immigrant family members living with them get Obama care virtually free when my xwife cant get it because the IRS has included her in my household income because she has no permanent address yet. she made approx $5000 in 2015 and the IRS assessed a penalty of $300 on her due to no insurance) In Short is everyone worried that their corrupt business as usual lives are coming to an end? For some real reasons I think so and it is so wide in scope it spreads across all lines. I eagerly await either outcome and I am prepared regardless.
Would Native American’s be welcomed to this world of your’s George?
The GOP has no power when it comes to votes.
The people do.
For years now, Americans have been saying no to Republicans.
The GOP is not for the people, but for themselves.
They crave power and control.
Donald Trump has taken both from them.
The Republicans don’t like it.
Too bad.
We the people have had enough of both parties.
We are sick of the lies, the control, the issues that do not get addressed, the spending, crooked politics, illegals, open borders and on and on and on.
Donald Trump will fix this country and he will do it his way.
Not the way the Republicans want it.
Not the way the Democrats want it.
Things will be done in the best interests of Americans.
We are going to fix the messes caused by weak leadership.
Americans will come first.
We will speak English and say Merry Christmas.
Those who don’t like it can get the hell out.
They won’t be welcome anyway.
We are taking this country back.
By force.
With votes.
For Donald Trump.
I am,
George Vreeland Hill
Open Letter to Republican Congresspersons who will not vote for Trump
We are a government of the people, by the people and for the people. Your refusal to support ANY candidate from your party chosen by the voters is an outrage. You are telling all your constituents that YOUR desire is more important than theirs. The fact that your candidate does not get the most votes is the result of your constituents telling you that they DO NOT APPROVE of what the party is accomplishing. If you lose the house and senate it is YOUR fault for not doing what you constituents tell you.
Instead of trying to ban Donald Trump from the next debate for not pledging to run as an independent you should be banning all current republican office holders who do not pledge to support ANY duly elected nominee from future elections. I myself will NEVER again vote for any one who refuses to support any duly elected nominee.
Surely you must realize there are SO MANY independent voters because they are tired of the republicans and democrats serving themselves instead of the people? The Democrat voters do not determine the nominee for their party (because the establishment super delegates override the voters) – if you change the republican rules to get the same effect you will lose even more voters.

If the RNC wanted to ban Trump from debates they would have done so already and Trump would not have been at a single debate. The always had the RIGHT to do it and that’s the only point this author is making.
The question is, can Trump win Hillary and the answer is obviously no.
They can not ban him. It would be the end of the Republican Party and everybody in it. We then could have a Trump Party and the Establishment would be dead a buried.
I’m very proud of Donald Trump.
His performance was spectacular! He did great, considering the fact that “two of the sleazy beltway bandits,” did their best to screw him over. Cruz and Rubio are hypocrites both have skeletons in their closets.
SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT: CRUZ, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vt-vG_TdOT4
RUBIO, http://www.politicususa.com/2015/06/09/republicans-marco-rubios-financial-scandal-big-problem.html
Rubio the new establishment golden boy with his deeds of money laundering and Cruz with his dirty tricks and sneaky escapades. Both has a proven record of not being able to work with his follow bandit in the Senate. Unbelievable!
If Trump’s able to hand “two vultures” against one “hawk,” then Trump is worthy the man we need in the Office of President.
Further it’s obvious that CNN lost control and any appearance of objectivity. Well done Donald – well done.
Trumputin, a beggar wrapped in purple whom ignorant people take for a king–a mass of error and deceptive ideas violently opposed to common sense. The trumputin wraps all these errors and fallacies and clothes them in garb which fascinates, dazzles and makes his cult of personality blind to the underlying errors of his dogma and his bigotry.

If you want to see the real reason there is no longer a military draft in this country–all you have to do is look in the mirror. There would be an epidemic of draft deferrments for a myriad of reasons. There would be protests in the street both peaceful and confrontational. You talk tough as long as its someone elses blood and guts on the line and in harm’s way. What would you do if by the trillion in one chance you were placed in harms way in defense of your country, your buddies, your way of life and lastly yourself.
LOL bet the author of this article feels pretty stupid now.
He might decide not to participate in any more debates. He has enough support to win without the GOP. TRUMP 2016
At this point, people in Iowa and New Hampshire pretty much know whether or not they are going to vote for Donald Trump or not. People not voting for Trump may still be unsure of who to vote for of the alternatives. Regardless him attending the debate or not isn’t going to change his vote count for the next few states.
If the RNC tries to ban him from all future debates it will likely help Trump more than it hurts him. In todays political climate a person can easily get their political message to the populous outside of debates, however banning a person from future debate can lead to huge backlashes.
The Republican party had him sign an agreement that he would not go third party. If the Republicans block him from future debates, Trump could sue their A$$ for breaking the signed contract. Republican party would be broke.
OH BS! Hillary Clinton has been in the bed with Putin, the Arabs and every other foreign country that would line her and Bill’s pockets! So don’t come up with that crock of S%$# about Trump saying something about Putin as a leader! Putin IS a better leader than our sorry ass Obama and Trump is not politically correct. He just comes out with the truth! Obama has diminished our military in EVERY way and made America a laughing stock the world over! We need a strong leader that cares about AMERICA and not the MUSLIMS because that’s ALL Obama cares about! Obama is a Muslim and has destroyed this nation in every way and any one who can not see the downward spiral that this nation has taken since that Muslim took office has deliberately chosen to look the other way! We can only pray it is not too late to turn this nation around to the strong nation we were. If Hillary Clinton gets elected it will be over for America! Period! TRUMP FOR PRESIDENT 2016!
Trump’s frat house behaviour with Putin the former head of the Soviet Union’s KGB is a slap in the face to all Americans who served the United States during the bleakest hours of the Cold War and should not be tolerated by Cold War era veterans.
Sounds like you want more Obama. That’s what Hillary represents. Don’t need that. Worse president ever = Obama . We let the black man screw it all up and then you want to let a woman follow his mess and screw it up more. No thanks. This country can’t afford any more screw up presidents right now.
Republican wealth LOL why is it you Libtards refuse to see theirs just as many wealthy democrats ( Hillary ) Until American,s figure out both parties are equally steeped in corruption, I would rather take my chances with Trump then vote for that evil POS Clinton having said that since the day he announced his candidacy ive been with Ted Cruz the only politician that has a proven record of fighting both parties, however Trump was right in calling for a stop to all Muslim immigration until further notice I,m sick of immigrants coming to this country that refuse to assimilate .
While he has “Freedom of Speech” as a constitutional right, he is Reckless with his words… World politics should and MUST be fraught with Diplomacy – That action doesn’t make us weak (increasing Military Spending means You INTEND to use those weapons) does Nothing.
Nuclear War is a “Real” Threat now, and to have someone in charge of the Free World
who appears to throw a tantrum whenever someone doesn’t agree with him, is Dangerous.
I don’t see him listening to his Political advisors in World Diplomacy!
As far (protecting) as Free Trade/Smaller Government – If the Gov’t Didn’t Outsource our lives people wouldn’t “Need” to depend upon the Government…It would “Automatically” Shrink because everyone is “working.”
Trump ties are “Made in China!”
David Letterman asked him (in 2011) to open up a tie factory in Queens, NY…
Hasn’t happened… So what “jobs” is he going to create – More Jobs = Less Gov’t Dependency.
Free Trade = Stock Market – only for those who can afford to invest, Approx. 20% of the population!
The other 80-percent live paycheck-to-paycheck and one step away from homelessness.
This Economy is Slavery for those who only work to give their money away with Nothing left over is frustrating. It breaks you down, and if you’re lucky enough to get (or have) a good paying job that is in line with Inflation and Rent, consider yourself Blessed.
The rest of us will never share in “Republican” wealth, wanting to take us back to the “Reaganomics” Era…
If he receives the Republican Nomination – We are doomed!

Cruz and Rubio should tell the GOP they will not go on any debate without trump nor will they attend a brokered convention to oust trump.
Stop lying.
Ernie: Hey Republican party, ban Donald Trump and you will lose over 50% of your voters. Forget about the Presidency for the next 20 years also. Trump 2016!!!
_____________
I’m pretty sure the Republican party will lose WITH Trump as the nominee. That much I know.
Of course Hillary will be impeached the minute she takes the oath of office and that paves the way for GOP to win in 2020 which is certainly not 20 years from now.
Hey Republican party, ban Donald Trump and you will lose over 50% of your voters. Forget about the Presidency for the next 20 years also. Trump 2016!!!
It should be up to the American people to decide if they want to vote for Trump or not. The GOP will surely elect Hillary if Trump runs independently. Many Americans believe our government is giving America away as well as losing the never ending war with ISIS and creating a dangerous world for our families. The GOP has targeted Trump from day one and it will be the downfall of this election.
PLEASE Mr Brer rabbit… Don’t throw me into the briar patch.. Tump’s number will double if they’re that stupid…
and that also includes 7 of my family members..
Plain and simple, wherever Trump goes I go. If you push him to go 3rd party I will vote for him there.
Trump has gone too far.
Total disgrace to the human population and entirely unfit to be president of the United States. He should be removed from the running for this:

Trump doesnt need GOP Debates and without him nobody will watch! However to make a move like that, shut out a republican candidate, shows how corrupt the establishment is. and will Strengthen Trump even more.
