Shaun King, a major figure in the Black Lives Matter movement, is calling for the destruction of churches and statues of Jesus Christ across America.
King, who once opened a Brooklyn rally for then-presidential candidate Bernie Sanders, said the statues represent “white supremacy.”
“Yes, I think the statues of the white European they claim is Jesus should also come down,” he tweeted. “They are a form of white supremacy. Always have been.”
Remarkably, the activist proceeded to point out that when Jesus and his family sought refuge and attempted to “blend in,” they went to Egypt “not Denmark.”
“Tear them down,” he insisted.

Destroy Churches
In another Twitter post, King called on his fellow Black Lives Matter activists to destroy churches.
“All murals and stained glass windows of white Jesus, and his European mother, and their white friends should also come down,” he demanded. “They are a gross form [of] white supremacy.”
“Created as tools of oppression. Racist propaganda. They should all come down.”
As Fox News reports, numerous cultures across the world depict Jesus in ways that resemble their own communities.
King is literally calling for the destruction of windows at churches, if not outright arson in order to take down such stained-glass structures.
Yes.

King Courts Controversy
King is about as shady a figure as one can find in the Black Lives Matter movement.
He raises money for the cause but has had little accountability for it winds up. He falsely accuses people of hate crimes and never retracts or apologizes for the lies.
In 2019, King insinuated a white man had been responsible for the shooting death of 7-year-old Jazmine Barnes in Houston, Texas. Two black men were arrested for the murder.
A year prior, he falsely accused a Texas state trooper of sexually assaulting a woman and holding her “hostage” in jail.
He is frequently accused of starting up business ventures only to have them dissolve leaving people unemployed and wondering where all of the money went.
It also seems like a good time to remind his followers that King has earned the nickname “Talcum X” for allegedly pretending to be black. His birth certificate lists two white parents, though he claims the man listed on the certificate was his adoptive father.
