Bill Clinton was confronted by a reporter asking about his relationship with the late convicted sex-offender Jeffrey Epstein, prompting an awkward response as the former President was ushered away by an aide.

The exchange occurred following a campaign rally for Democrat House candidates in Laredo, Texas.

Reporter Juan Mendoza with Real America’s Voice got a moment to speak with Clinton as he worked the room during the event.

“Mr. Clinton, any comment on the allegation of your alleged connection with Jeffrey Epstein?”

Clinton spokesman Angel Ureña’s expression quickly shifted to an uncomfortable smile while it took the former President a bit to realize what was being asked.

“I think the evidence is clear,” Clinton laughed, backing away as Ureña tried to move him along.

Clinton Confronted About Epstein

It should have been relatively easy to answer the question, considering Ureña has helped Clinton craft messaging on Epstein in the past.

Following Epstein’s arrest in 2019, Ureña tweeted a statement in which the former President admitted to taking a “total of four trips” on the billionaire’s private plane.

However, Doug Band, a former top aide to Clinton, made shocking allegations in a 2020 interview with Vanity Fair, including claims that the former president took a trip in 2003 to Epstein’s famed private island.

Clinton had traveled on Epstein’s jet – known as the ‘Lolita Express’ – 26 separate times, according to a Fox News analysis.

Other analyses of flight logs led to claims of fewer trips, but there is no denying he traveled on the plane.

Additionally, Clinton, according to a Daily Beast report in September of 2020, invited Ghislaine Maxwell, the British socialite convicted of sex trafficking and transporting a minor while serving as a madam for Epstein, to a “cozy” dinner in 2014.

Epstein Visited the White House 17 Times

White House logs obtained by the Daily Mail show Clinton didn’t just visit with Epstein, the convicted sex offender went to him as well.

The logs show Epstein visited the White House at least 17 times between 1993 and 1995. During those visits, Epstein brought a total of eight women along with him, according to the report.

Microsoft founder Bill Gates was confronted about his relationship with Epstein during a PBS interview in 2021.

Gates replied that he “had dinners with him” and that “those meetings were a mistake.”

The PBS reporter wondered if there was a lesson for him or anyone else who might be in a similar situation to which Gates replied, “Well, he’s dead.”

Prince Andrew has also been the subject of allegations, forcing him to settle with one of the alleged sexual abuse victims.

Twitter CEO Elon Musk shared a meme that listed “Things I’ll never see in my life,” which included images of a T-Rex, a dragon, and a unicorn, along with the words “The Epstein/Maxwell Client List.”

Epstein was convicted of procuring for prostitution a girl below the age of 18 in 2008 and was facing sex trafficking charges until he died by suicide, according to authorities, in a Manhattan jail cell in 2019.
