Biden: Most Americans Can’t Tell the Difference Between The Chinese And Other Asians

Former Vice President Joe Biden on Wednesday suggested most Americans can’t distinguish between the Chinese and other Asians.

He made the comments during a virtual campaign event after addressing a woman who had migrated from South Korea over four decades earlier.

“Don’t let anybody convince you you’re not American in every single way,” Biden told Suk Kim. “It’s an idea. We’re an idea. It’s not based on an ethnicity or race.”

“I’m sorry I get so worked up about it,” he added, “but it makes me so angry when I find people based on the color of their skin or their national origin are somehow viewed in a different way.”

So worked up was Biden, that he used this as a jumping point to essentially say most Americans think all Asians are alike.

No Distinction

Biden seamlessly used Kim’s immigration status as a means to criticize President Trump for blaming China for the coronavirus … which originated in China.

“Look what he’s doing now. He’s blaming everything on China. He’s blaming everything on the Chinese … and people don’t make a distinction, as you well know, from a South Korean and someone from Beijing,” the Democrat presidential candidate contended.

“They make no distinction, it’s Asian. And he’s using it as a wedge.”

Following his incredibly racist comments, Biden had the audacity to claim Trump is the “first” racist to be elected president.

“We’ve had racists, and they’ve existed, they’ve tried to get elected president. He’s the first one that has,” Biden said without evidence.

Where is the Outrage?

It’s time once again to play ‘What if Trump said this?’

The media would be apoplectic if the President:

  1. Said all Asians are alike.
  2. Said all Americans are too stupid to tell the difference.
  3. Defended a country responsible for the deaths of countless Americans.

Yet, here you have Biden doing all of these things. And nobody – NOBODY – will bat an eyelash.

It’s rare that he is given the opportunity to speak or freelance with his comments, but his full-throated defense of China is absolutely incredible and should shock voters.

But then, Biden’s many decades as a politician have been filled with instances of him defending China.

He has spent years bowing to Beijing. He led the effort to give China “most favored nation” trade status, killing millions of American jobs.

And now, Biden has failed repeatedly to hold China accountable for the coronavirus pandemic and, in fact, has parroted Chinese Communist Party propaganda.

His campaign advisor Ron Klain praised China’s authoritarian government for its response to the virus, heralding the fact that it “built hospitals in two or three days.”

Touting his foreign policy credentials on the campaign trail in March, Biden recalled how he once told former President Barack Obama that “China is not our problem.”

“China is going to eat our lunch?” Biden scoffed at a rally shortly after he announced his candidacy. “Come on, man.”

China’s lies in dealing with coronavirus and allowing it to spread unchecked were not only eating our lunch but costing Americans their jobs, their paychecks, and their lives.

And Biden defends that. Is this What America wants in a leader?
