Identity politics has been the bread and butter for the Democrat Party for some time now. In the modern era, Democrats have always counted on strong numbers from women, African-Americans, Hispanics, and the LGBT community to get across the finish line.
There have always been a few folks in those groups who have dared to “cross over,” and not only become conservatives and/or Republicans, but to make a big public show of it.
Thus far, the numbers haven’t been enough to pose a threat to Democrats’ hold on those voting blocs.
But as more blacks, Hispanics, and members of the LGBT community are openly declaring they are Republicans, Democrats’ response has been been condescension or outright vitriol.
Just look at the cases of black Republican Senator Tim Scott, Hispanic women in southern Texas, or GOP California gubernatorial candidate Caitlyn Jenner.
Asce Schow of The Daily Wire makes the case that the left’s bigotry is now openly on display.

One thing that’s striking about the Republicans who have flipped House seats so far: They are all women, minorities, or veterans (in many cases two of three). https://t.co/I6sUGEwve2

Diverse Thought Poses A Threat
In a recent, incredibly patronizing piece by Fox News Contributor Juan Williams, the title alone says it all: “Tim Scott Should Become A Democrat.”
Williams argument for Senator Scott to switch Parties goes something like this:
While Williams agreed with Scott’s recent statement that ‘America is not a racist country,’ Scott should then declare that former President Donald Trump has inspired enough white supremacist thinking that America risks becoming a racist country.
Otherwise, Williams opines, Scott is helping racists cover up their racism.
Scott risks becoming a “fall guy” as the only black Republican Senator who, in Juan Williams’s eyes, is turning a blind eye to the GOP’s attempts at “voter suppression” and their record on “police brutality.”
What’s missing here is any indication that Williams understands that Tim Scott is in fact a fully-functioning, sentient adult human being with agency, who may simply disagree with Williams’ notions.
At least Juan was honest enough to point out that a bonus of a defection of Tim Scott to the Democrat Party would mean an ever-so-slight majority for Democrats.
Reading the piece, it’s easy to see what Williams’ true thoughts are.
Essentially, Tim Scott, a black man, just by virtue of being a black man, should think the way Juan Williams thinks. For Williams, it’s a given. It’s taken for granted that a black man must view everything the exact same way (just coincidentally, by the way) they are portrayed in the overall media narrative.
The media narrative, also coincidentally, shared by the Democrat Party.
And don’t think for a second it’s just Juan Williams who thinks this.
For roughly 12 hours after Sen. Scott’s rebuttal to President Biden’s speech, “Uncle Tim” trended on Twitter before it was taken down.

Democrats Must Keep Everyone In Their Place
Black Republicans aren’t the only people the Democrats feel the need to control. Recently, Caitlyn Jenner announced she will run for Governor of California and face Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA).
Almost immediately, Jenner was hearing the love of the left. She instantly became a “hateful person” and a “traitor” to other transgender people.
The Daily Wire reported that trans activist Charlotte Clymer called Jenner, “the Phyllis Schlafly of the trans community.”

Jemele Hill dubbed Jenner the “Candace Owens of the trans community.” Owens is another black woman with Incorrect Opinions.
Hispanic Republicans aren’t immune from getting the treatment, either.
Adrienne Pena-Garza, Chair of the Hidalgo County Texas Republican Party and a former Democrat, describes being called a “coconut,” (brown on the outside, white on the inside, isn’t that lovely?) for switching to the party she believed best represented her views.
Starting to see a pattern here?

How Long Can Democrats Continue To Demonize Free Thinkers?
The great William F. Buckley once said, “Liberals claim to want to give a hearing to other views, but then are shocked and offended to discover that there are other views.”
The tide may be beginning to turn. The New York Post reported immediately following the 2020 election, that Donald Trump received 26% of the nonwhite voting share.
The more that black, Hispanic, and LGBT people continue to speak freely about what they believe, Democrats may find that there are more people who love free speech and their own values than care that Democrats see them as a traitor to race, gender, or some other reliable Democrat voting category.
Maybe Democrats and the left are afraid that these are the people who are going to let out the dirty little secret that the party of inclusion, diversity, and tolerance, is anything but.
Democrats claim to be all about respecting other people's cultures and beliefs but they can't even respect their fellow Americans cultures.
They think the South are racist rednecks, the people from the Midwest are "bitter clingers" and millions of Americans are Deplorable.
