Microsoft founder Bill Gates said Sunday that it could be as long as 18 months – into 2022 – before America gets back to normal as the country continues to endure the coronavirus pandemic.
Gates made his comments on CNN’s “State of the Union.”

Gates: Normalcy Might Not Return Until 2022
Anchor Jake Tapper said to Gates, “When do you think life will fully return to what we thought of as normal back in January, no masks, no social distancing, no other protective measures necessary?”
Gates replied, “Certainly, by the summer will be way closer to normal than we are now, but even through early 2022, unless we help other countries get rid of this disease and we get high vaccinations rates in our country, the risk of reintroduction will be there and, of course, the global economy will be slowed down, which hurts America economically in a pretty dramatic way.”

“So we will have, starting in the summer, about nine months where a few things like big public gatherings will still be restricted,” Gates added.
“But we can see now that somewhere between 12 to 18 months, we have a chance, if we manage it well, to get back to normal,” he finished.
Gates Part Of The Left-Elite That Continues To Argue For Prolonged Lockdowns
As blue states continue to implement more stringent restrictions and red states try to balance public health with economic concerns and basic liberties, it is clear that Americans at large are not going to put up with the same restrictions they did for most of 2020.
Gates is part of the left or establishment elite who seem to think we can continue destroying businesses and people’s ability to earn a living based on arbitrary rules designed to tamp down COVID-19 cases that have not been successful enough to date.

The idea of waiting until 2022 to return to some semblance of national normalcy is something millions of Americans will reject in the future and are rejecting right now.
Whether Bill Gates and his friends think it is a good idea or not.
