Coming on the heels of what is predicted to be a good night for Republicans on election night, Democrats and the left might want to brace themselves for more bad news.
According to a new report from Axios, those close to former President Donald Trump say that an official 2024 announcement could be coming as soon as November 14.

Trump has been hinting since the end of the 2020 election cycle that he would run again, but lately, those hints have become louder and more pronounced.
Trump has also increased his travel schedule giving supporters the double whammy of a Trump rally and campaigning for GOP candidates across the country.
My favorite part of the Trump presidency was when he didn’t destroy the American economy in his first two years.

Already Made A Decision
As far back as July, The Political Insider has been reporting that Donald Trump has made hints at a 2024 presidential run.
In an interview with “The Intelligencer,” Trump stated, “Well, in my own mind, I’ve already made that decision, so nothing factors in anymore. In my own mind, I’ve already made that decision. I would say my big decision will be whether I go before or after. You understand what that means? Midterms.”
Democrats have also made a decision, to do what ever they need to do in order to keep Trump from running again. That includes all sorts of indictments for one thing or another.
But even that will apparently not deter Trump.
In September, Trump appeared with radio host Hugh Hewitt. He told Hewitt that he did not believe there would be any indictments, and if there was, it does not preclude him from running for president.
He also made a guess as to how his supporters might react to an indictment:
“There is no reason that they can [indict], other than if they’re just sick and deranged, which is always possible, because I did absolutely … nothing wrong. If it happened, I think you’d have problems in this country the likes of which perhaps, we’ve never seen before. I don’t think the people of the United States would stand for it.”
Trump is running for President, he’ll announce in November, and no Republican will challenge him. Not one. The nomination is his.

While other names have been mentioned, the most mentioned possible challenger for 2024 is Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis. Trump and DeSantis have jockeyed for leads in various straw polls at GOP events this year, and DeSantis has been the second most favorite in those polls.
But even though many would like to see DeSantis run, or even be Trump’s Veep pick in ’24, for many Republicans, keeping DeSantis fresh for a 2028 run seems to be the better outlook.
It may be a moot point – since DeSantis has apparently told his close allies that he will not, in fact, go for it in 2024.
One thing is for certain. If you are a Republican, the next two weeks could be Christmas and your birthday all rolled into one. One has to wonder, will this be what finally sends Liz Cheney completely over the fence to become a Democrat?

I have mixed feelings about Trump running. I acknowledge his positive achievements during his administration in face of incredible opposition… I mean, look at the absolute chaos that descended when he appointed Kavanaugh to SCOTUS. RIDICULOUS in the extreme, and they are still talking about BK as if he were a “rapist”. For the record, there is not ONE credible account of his being inappropriate w/anyone, especially in his professional career and he has been subjected to 6-7 or more FBI background investigations during the course of his career! Yet they don’t stop…
But I am concerned that Trump, due to all the bitterness and rancor of the left, would cause us to lose. As many devoted followers as he has, Trump has made many enemies. I would hate to see a situation where we had a chance to win back the WH and lost bc of Trump. Just sayin’… sometimes you must do things for the GOOD of the party.
At least our economy should return to stability and the threats from our enemies will be throttled.
