Former vice president and original Democrat unable to accept the outcome of an election, Al Gore, made a rather unfortunate comparison between President Donald Trump and cancer during a commencement speech at the University of Maryland.
“I get it,” Gore said in a nod to the commander-in-chief’s supporters. “There are – I know – a great many supporters of President Trump.”
“I do understand that,” he added. “As one of his supporters put it on television, he said, ‘The way I look at it, Donald Trump is chemotherapy for America.'”
That analogy appears to be referencing a comment made by Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban, who is most definitely not a Trump supporter. In fact, Cuban was accusing the President of being “poisonous” for America. (RELATED: Trump’s Billionaire Buddy Mark Cuban Said Something The Donald Will Not Like).
“‘Is he poisonous? In a lot of respects, yeah. This is our chemotherapy,'” Cuban said, quoting a friend. “‘We hope he’s going to change the political system.'”

Using that falsehood as a stepping stone, Gore went on to say that, like other experiments in science and medicine, Trump’s presidency should be “terminated early for ethical reasons.”
Whoa … That seems vaguely threatening there, Mr. Inconvenient Truth.
Following up on the chemotherapy comments, Gore said: “Well, in medicine and science, some experiments are terminated early for ethical reasons.”

“I don’t know that that will be the case, and I do not predict it,” Gore said, despite implying that, like Mad Maxine Waters often does, Trump’ should be impeached.
“But I do know that whether you are a Republican or a Democrat or an independent, the salvation of our democracy — for those who support Trump or oppose Trump or those who want other candidates or not — the salvation of our democracy is with the American people, and most especially with your generation.”
Q: If you had to give Trump one piece of advice, what would it be?

Or maybe he’s just holding onto his dreams of seeing Trump quit before his term is up.
When asked for a single piece of advice he’d offer the President in August, Gore simply responded, “resign.”
The Maryland commencement speech isn’t the first time he’s used the ‘terminated early’ analogy.
