Today, FBI Director Christopher Wray is set to testify before Congress.

But, just before his testimony, we’re learning of more bombshell allegations against the domestic law enforcement agency. These allegations, along with the recent discovery of a pro-Hillary Clinton mole who was just fired from the investigation team being led by Special Counsel Robert Mueller, are not helping the Bureau’s credibility.

Florida representative Ron DeSantis came forward with the damning news, revealing that a whistleblower gave him details about how FBI officials have allowed politics to get in the way of the truth in the past.

From The Hill: “Rep. Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.) said Wednesday he interviewed a recently retired FBI supervisor who told him he was instructed by Deputy Director Andrew McCabe not to call the 2012 Benghazi attack an act of terrorism when distributing a report on the FBI findings to the larger intelligence community.”

Here’s what DeSantis said: “What operational reason would there be to issue an edict to agents telling them, in the face of virtually conclusive evidence to the contrary, not to categorize the Benghazi attack as a result of terrorism?  By placing the interests of the Obama administration over the public’s interests, the order is yet another data point highlighting the politicization of the FBI.”

That isn’t all the Florida lawmaker revealed. DeSantis also told The Hill that another whistleblower informed him that the FBI had a personal interest in investigating disgraced National Security Advisor Michael Flynn. Flynn, of course, recently plead guilty to lying to the FBI, and could be working directly with Mueller to implicate President Trump in some illegal activity.

But now it looks like the FBI didn’t go after Flynn for legal reasons, but rather personal.

This is a shocking accusation: “DeSantis said the person he spoke with said a senior FBI executive made an inappropriate comment suggesting the bureau had a personal motive in investigating Flynn and ruining his career. DeSantis wants the FBI to tell him if the videotape was saved.”

DeSantis plans on peppering Wray with questions over these allegations later today. Let’s hope we get to the bottom of this.
