When Ben Carson Said He Didn’t Agree with THIS, Liberals Went Totally Crazy

Responding to a question during an interview broadcast Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” Dr. Ben Carson described the Islamic faith as inconsistent with the Constitution.

“I would not advocate that we put a Muslim in charge of this nation,” Carson said. “I absolutely would not agree with that.”

Carson, meanwhile, was asked Sunday whether a president’s faith should matter to voters.

“I guess it depends on what that faith is,” he said. “If it’s inconsistent with the values and principles of America, then of course it should matter. But if it fits within the realm of America and consistent with the Constitution, no problem.”

I think Mr. Carson may have a point too even though it may not be 100% accurate. The truth is the truth and the action speaks for itself.

You would think most Americans would agree with Ben Carson after the attacks on America–  the Twin Towers and Pentagon on September 11, Boston Bombers, and much more.

Although there is no ‘religious’ test to become president of the U.S., one has to be vetted because he/she can be sympathetic to the cause of extremism. That is why a person’s background, morals, values, and loyalty has to be vetted. If not, we can end up losing our democracy.

If you people know anything of history, you would know that dictatorships don’t bode well for the general public. We would live in constant fear. That’s why the 1st and 2nd Amendments are so crucial and valuable to protect.

How do you feel about Carson taking this stand? Democrats are showing their hand as if they don’t care but should they? Share your comments below and add this story to your Facebook/Twitter timeline for discussion.
