President Trump briefly paused his campaign rally in Phoenix, Arizona Wednesday night to give a shout out to a World War II veteran and supporter who had to be carried in to see him.
The emotionally charged moment began when a group of Trump supporters were spotted carrying the veteran down a flight of stairs at Arizona Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
As they did so, the crowd began chanting “USA! USA!”
Kari Lake, an anchor for Fox 10 in Phoenix, posted the video and explained: “Lots of teamwork here. These men carrying a World War II veteran to his seat.”
She said the scene gave her “a lump in my throat.”

The President and His Son Take Notice
It wasn’t long before Donald Trump Jr. took the stage and the World War II veteran had clearly made an impression on him.
“This is the America I know, this is what Trump supporters are all about and what they stand for, this is what I see at every one of [the President’s] rallies,” he later wrote on social media.

Trump Jr. was spotted handing out MAGA hats to the men who had carried the veteran, later identified as 100-year-old Navy veteran Ervin Julian, into the rally.
The President then honored Julian, telling him, “I want to thank you, really.”
“Thank you for the great job you’ve done. An American patriot,” he added to raucous applause.
“I don’t know if he knows it but he’s right now the hottest celebrity in the world,” the President joked. “He might even be hotter than Trump right now I have to say.”

Amazing Moment
President Trump honoring World War II veteran Ervin Julian is just another tear-jerking moment he has inspired when it comes to our military men and women.
Last year, Trump kept a promise he made to retired sergeant Allen Jones, bringing him and his family to the White House on his 95th birthday.

Earlier this month, the President cut a rally in New Hampshire short and joined Vice President Mike Pence to fly unannounced to Dover Air Force Base, paying their respects to two soldiers killed in Afghanistan.
