Michelle Obama is just like the rest of America – when Barack Obama starts talking, she tunes out!
On Wednesday, President and Mrs. Obama attended a Toys for Tots event at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling to help sort toys by gender and age group. President Obama started his remarks with, “I’m the big elf!” (Oh, you’re a big SOMETHING, alright!) went on for a while and then ended with an attempt at humor – but Michelle was having none of it!
“I am positive that girls, zero to two, that’s perfect for the “Call of Duty” video game. Isn’t that right?”
“What video game?” his wife inquired.
“See, she didn’t even get the joke,” Obama told the crowd.
“I wasn’t listening,” the first lady retorted.
[“She wasn’t listening to me!” Obama exclaimed.]
Ouch!
