Senator Bernie Sanders was interrupted three separate times by protesters criticizing him for supporting tens of billions of taxpayer dollars to Ukraine and pushing the country to the brink of nuclear war with Russia.

Video posted by The People’s Party shows the three incidents, appearing to be filmed at separate events.

“Stop funding this war, Bernie! We trusted you!” one man shouts. “You were supposed to lead a revolution.”

Another accuses the Vermont lawmaker of “starting a nuclear war with Russia,” prompting Sanders to interject and state, “We’re not going to let people disrupt our meeting.”

In another segment of the video, Sanders accuses the protester of being a paid operative.

“Why are you voting to fund a nuclear war, Bernie?” the protester asks as Senator Sanders walks by.

“Let me ask you a question,” Sanders fires back, his scraggly finger pointing in the direction of the man. “Who is paying you?”

The man replies, “No one.”

“Why does someone have to be paid by Russia or someone else to oppose the war, Bernie?” he later asks.

Protesters Targeting the Squad and Their Grandfather

Bernie Sanders is simply the latest defacto Squad member to get harassed by protesters who thought that, as progressives, they’d actually be against nuclear war and foreign military adventures.

He joined 85 other senators in passing a $40 billion aid package in May. Only 11 Republican senators voted against the funding.

$14 billion aid package passed in March, on top of the $12 billion in aid to Ukraine approved by Congress last month. Most of it has been described as military aid.

Representative Ilhan Omar had a town hall meeting interrupted by protesters just days ago as well.

Omar (D-MN) began shouting back at those who interrupted the meeting, suggesting the funding for Ukraine is for the children.

“We are helping little children like me,” she responded, a reference to her fleeing war-torn Somalia as a child.

“Unless you are someone like me that has been that child, you do not get to tell me what my votes mean and how I get to vote in supporting people,” Omar shouted back.

Last month, Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (Socialist-NY) was on the receiving end of an absolutely brutal verbal tongue-lashing over her support for Ukraine.

Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) and Rep. Ayanna Pressley were also confronted for “bringing us to the brink of nuclear war.”

Will the only remaining original member of the Squad, Rashida Tlaib, get an earful from protesters next?

Now is the time to support and share the sources you trust.
