Fox & Friends has pulled off an amazing surprise for Army hopeful Mariah Bryant.
Bryant, who “dreamed of serving her country in the Army,” had those hopes dashed when she was diagnosed with a degenerative eye disease that causes a halo of light in her field of vision and could eventually lead to blindness.
The disease has a possible cure in the form of specialized surgery with a price tag of over $20,000, something out of her reach. Additionally, the surgery can only be performed by a lone FDA-approved doctor.
After explaining that only Dr. Brian Boxer Wachler could help save her sight and get her dream of serving in the Army back on track, Bryant was stunned and moved to tears when the next guest on the show was introduced.

Bryant was shocked when Dr. Brian then joined “Fox and Friends” via satellite from Los Angeles with some amazing news.
“A donor who wishes to remain anonymous has stepped forward and agreed to cover the cost of your procedures and your travel out here to Los Angeles,” Dr. Brian revealed. “So, after the show this morning, you’re going to be boarding a plane to Los Angeles to my office in Beverly Hills. Tomorrow, we’re going to be doing your procedures. And by the end of the day tomorrow, your journey will have come to an end, and this weight that’s been on your shoulders will be gone.”
“Thank you so much,” a teary-eyed Bryant said. “This means the world. I get to start my life over.”
“This is amazing. This is a blessing. I’ve prayed about it, and Dr. Brian knows what we go through. It’s something that no one can ever imagine.”
Wachler explained that this is the kind of thing that caused him to get into the medical field.
Bryant “raised her hand, she wanted to join the military, serve our country,” he explained. “It moved me.”
