A new Gallup survey shows registered voters overwhelmingly believe they are better off under President Trump than they were four years ago under Obama-Biden.
The numbers are rather startling considering national polls show former Vice President Joe Biden leading Trump by wide margins nationally.
A summary of the poll reads: “Gallup’s most recent survey found a clear majority of registered voters (56%) saying they are better off now than they were four years ago, while 32% said they are worse off.”
That is an 11 point increase over the numbers the Obama-Biden administration received in 2012.
It should be noted that this survey was conducted prior to two events that may have hurt Trump in the polls – the presidential debate, and the President’s coronavirus diagnosis.
The Gallup Poll has just come out with the incredible finding that 56% of you say that you are better off today, during a pandemic, than you were four years ago (OBiden). Highest number on record! Pretty amazing!

America is Better Off Under Trump Than They Were Under Biden
It was Ronald Reagan who famously asked during his presidential campaign in 1980, “Are you better off today than you were four years ago?”
The question was posed during a tight race against Democrat President Jimmy Carter and launched Reagan to a huge popular vote and Electoral College victory.
Remarkably, according to Gallup, Reagan’s “better off” percentage was only at 44 percent in 1984.
He still went on to obliterate Walter Mondale, 525 electoral votes to 13.

In fact, Trump’s ‘better off’ numbers are higher than any poll conducted since then – George H.W. Bush in 1992 (38%), George W. Bush in 2004 (47%) and Barack Obama in 2012 (45%).
Trump’s numbers are the only clear majority – well over 50 percent – whereas, two of the previously mentioned Presidents easily won re-election.
Gallup: 56% say they’re better off than they were four years ago, and Trump leads Biden 49/46 on the “I agree with him on issues” metric. But Trump tumbles eight net points on the question of “presidential qualities.” That’s the ballgame right now. *He* is why he’s trailing.

Approval Ratings On Par With Other Presidents Who Won Re-Election
The ‘better off’ poll comes despite a global pandemic and Democrat-led shutdowns that have ruined the economy.
Even after everything the country has gone through, the American people still view themselves as being in a better position than they were under the Obama administration.
Could the media be wrong about the President?
President Trump aggressively responded to the coronavirus by shutting down travel with China and launching the greatest mobilization of American industry since World War II.
Meanwhile, his policy agenda of cutting taxes for the middle class has created the conditions for what the Trump campaign describes as the Great American Comeback.
Another great jobs report!
Unemployment fell to 7.9% and over a half a million jobs were added.
Thanks to @realDonaldTrump the Great American Comeback is STILL happening!

Trump’s latest approval rating is dead-on with Obama’s average at 46% and higher than Bush’s at 36%.
The Gallup poll also shows 49 percent of registered voters agree with the President on the issues, compared to 46 percent who side with Biden.
When it comes to presidential qualities, however, Biden leads Trump 49-44 percent.
