Before Tuesday’s debate, both Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass) and Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) had essentially called each other liars over Sanders’ last December alleged claim that a woman could not be elected president in 2020.

On the debate stage, they let it pass and CNN, showing clear bias in protecting both Dems.

But after the debate, Warren, who was not a happy camper, confronted Sanders. CNN reports that a showdown then ensued.

“I think you called me a liar on national TV,” Warren said to Sanders while clearly ignoring his handshake.

“What?” Sanders responds. He’s stalling.
“I think you called me a liar on national TV,” Warren repeated. She’s more ticked. She knows he’s playing for time and trying to get out of there.
Remember, this is after the debate during which she referred to Sanders as a friend.
“No, let’s not do it right now,” Sanders replied. “You want to have that discussion, we’ll have that discussion.”
They’re on stage with cameras and audio pointed at them. This analyst thinks Sanders knows he lied and wants to wiggle out of any discussion of it.
Sanders knows she could nail him on this with female voters. He makes a lame offer to talk about it later.
“Anytime,” Warren said. She decides to back off. For now. Then, as she is walking away he tells her this.
“You called me a liar,” Sanders told Warren. “You told me — let’s not do this right now,” bizarrely parroting her lines and then his own.
