US Airstrike Takes Out Iran Terrorist Leader Qassem Soleimani, World Celebrates Democrats Distraught

The world is celebrating a U.S. airstrike that took out Iranian Gen. Qassem Soleimani, the head of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ elite Quds Force. Well, everyone except Democrats and former lackeys of Barack Obama.

Fox News reports that no less than three rockets were launched at Baghdad International Airport early Friday morning, killing at least seven people including Soleimani.

The general is considered one of the most powerful men in Iran and has been compared by Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to recently deceased Islamic State leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. Soleimani had been charged with killing hundreds of Americans troops.

The strikes also took out Iraqi militia commander Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, who was in charge of the Iranian-linked Popular Mobilization Forces.

The airstrikes come just days after mobs formed by pro-Iran militia members attacked a U.S. embassy in Baghdad, smashing security cameras, breaking down a door into the reception area, and setting the room on fire, all while shouting “Death to America!”

Dancing in the Streets

The reaction to Soleimani’s death was exactly as you’d expect for Iraqis and reasonable Americans – celebration.

In fact, footage emerged of dancing in the streets of Iraq over the news.

President Trump himself celebrated by tweeting a very simple image – the American flag.

And on social media, Iranians and others across the region started a trend thanking President Trump for taking Qassem Soleimani out, using the hashtag #TnxPOTUS4Soleimani.

Guess Who’s Not Celebrating

You’ll never guess who was beside themselves over the death of an Iranian terrorist leader. Go ahead, give it a shot.

Sure, Iran hardliners were pretty ticked off. Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei quickly warned that a “harsh retaliation is waiting” for the U.S. following the airstrikes.

Khamenei also declared three days of public mourning for General Qassem Soleimani.

Democrats and Obama cronies might also want to take a few days to mourn.

Ben Rhodes, the former deputy national security adviser for strategic communication to Obama, felt the need to weigh in on the strike.

“No question that Soleimani has a lot of blood on his hands. But this is a really frightening moment,” Rhodes lamented. “Iran will respond and likely in various places. Thinking of all US personnel in the region right now…Trump may have just started a war with no congressional debate.”

Right, because Iran isn’t known for attacking where and when they so choose. You know, like in trying to overrun a U.S. embassy in Iraq? We know it happened a full three days ago, but lest we forget, Ben.

Senator Ed Markey (D-MA) also piped in saying, “Trump’s apparent assassination of Soleimani is a massive, deliberate, and dangerous escalation of conflict with Iran.”

“The President just put the lives of every person in the region – U.S. service members and civilians – at immediate risk. We need de-escalation now.”

On the contrary, Middle East expert Walid Phares explains that Trump’s actions actually saved lives in the region.

“What we have done tonight,” Phares stated, “after the orders of the president and the commanders was to save American lives and interests and allies in the region from what was [being] prepared by these organizations.”

Terrorist-sympathizing Rep. Ilhan Omar vowed to stop the President and his ability to take out people like General Soleimani.

Remember when Barack Obama claimed Republicans shared “common cause” with Iranian hardliners who yell “death to America”?

My, how we’ve come full circle.
