There has been much speculation that Vice President Joe Biden will be entering the race for President as Hillary Clinton’s scandal-plagued campaign continues to stumble. But, after a private meeting over the weekend, he may have also picked the perfect running mate — Elizabeth Warren. This ticket could spell the end of the Former First Lady’s “inevitable’’ nomination.
Joe Biden has immediate name recognition with Democratic voters. And Senator Elizabeth Warren is a fringe leftist who could quickly siphon support from Bernie Sanders. Pundits speculate that news of this meeting was leaked to the press with the intent to see the reaction.
This ticket would combine two well-known politicians who lied to advance their careers. Essentially, the Democrats would be trading one scandal-plagued untrustworthy candidate for two liars.
Elizabeth Warren’s career was advanced in part by lies that she is descended from Cherokee and Delaware Indians. She even campaigned for U.S. Senate as a Native American until her claims were debunked.
Biden had to drop out of the 1988 Presidential primary because of repeated plagiarism of campaign speeches as well as lies about his life story. The most damaging plagiarism was lifting not only the speech of British Labor Party leader Neil Kinnock in his failed campaign against Margaret Thatcher, but he claimed Kinnock’s life story as his own as well.
Biden was not the first in his family to attend college and his family was not comprised of coal miners. But, that didn’t stop Biden from regurgitating these lies.
