Conservative commentator Ann Coulter has been one of Donald Trump’s biggest defenders for the last year, but she might finally be reaching her breaking point with the eccentric candidate.
In an interview on the Milo Yiannopoulos Show set to air later this week, Coulter groused to Milo (a fellow Trump fan), “I’m a little testy with our man right now. Our candidate is mental! Do you realize our candidate is mental? It’s like constantly having to bail out your 16-year-old son from prison.”
It was Trump’s March 23rd retweet of a picture comparing Mrs. Cruz with Mrs. Trump that particularly got Coulter’s gall:

Apparently the interview was recorded the next day because she declared, “I’m ticked off about last night’s tweet… This is the worst thing he has done.”
“Drastic measures may have to be taken so he doesn’t tweet like last night,” she continued. “I want to take him to your urologist and get electrodes inserted into what apparently is a very large schlong and whenever he does something like this I want to have the button.”
While Milo continued singing Trump’s praises, Coulter interjected, “I just wish it would be a teensy bit less low-brow.”
Yiannopoulos disagreed, and argued in favor of Trump’s many attacks, including the one on Heidi Cruz.
“The trashier he gets, the more I love him!” the host said. “I think it’s so outrageously funny. People are so sick of earnest pearl-clutching from the establishment. A presidential candidate — and not just a presidential candidate, but somebody who’s probably going to get the nomination is saying ‘you’re wife’s ugly and my wife’s hot’ — I think that’s amazing. It may not scream ‘presidential material…’ But some people are going to think ‘what a boss!'”
Coulter responded, saying, “You know, I love him so much on immigration I’m not even going to argue with you. I say low-brow, you say amazing … Let’s just talk about what he’s good on. He’s the only one who’s going to build a wall, but please stop testing our patience on the rest of this stuff.”

Coulter is finally starting to realize her candidate is mental, but she still hopes he can be presidential and that he can build a wall … based on exactly zero evidence. But, hey, it’s progress, maybe there is hope for Ann to come back from the Dark Side!
