Liberals and radical feminists believe in abortion-on-demand, and oppose any protections at all for unborn life. That’s why many view the “pro-choice” crowd as actually pro-abortion.
Sadly, American taxpayers are forced to pay for thousands of abortions every year. We are forced to pay for Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion provider. And it gets worse from there – we’re forced to pay for abortion in other countries.
Or at least, we were.
Donald Trump ran for president on a strong pro-life platform, easily destroying pro-abortion Hillary Clinton in a presidential debate when she defended partial-birth abortion.
Now that he’s president, he’s doing all he can to protect taxpayers from having to pay for such despicable crimes.
Just hours after taking office, President Trump re-instated the Mexico City Policy, which stopped our tax dollars from going to international abortion organizations like the International Planned Parenthood Federation.
And now, President Trump is taking on the globalist pro-abortion forces at the UN!
The State Department said on Monday it was ending U.S. funding for the United Nations Population Fund, the international body’s agency focused on family planning as well as maternal and child health in more than 150 countries.
In a letter to U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman Bob Corker, the State Department said it was dropping the funding because the U.N. Population Fund (UNFPA) “supports, or participates in the management of, a program of coercive abortion or involuntary sterilization.”
This is great news! While we must keep fighting to protect the unborn in the law, we should also stop funding it. It is unconscionable for Washington politicians to take money from Christians and give it to abortionists.
Liberals always scream about “keeping the government out of the bedroom,” but they sure don’t seem to mind forcing Uncle Sam’s hands into our wallets.
Recently, Tucker Carlson had the VP of Planned Parenthood on his show to talk about Obamacare, and he proved exactly why liberals are so wrong on this issue:
