MSNBC Analyst Elise Jordan Compares Trump To Suicide Bomber

We know MSNBC doesn’t like Donald Trump, but this is taking it a bit far.

After Trump revealed on Thursday that the alleged Comey tapes don’t exist, MSNBC political analyst Elise Jordan compared the President of the United States to a suicide bomber because he “blows up” both himself and his supporters:

“He wasted the country’s collective time speculating over whether these tapes existed or not,” Jordan said. “It’s a sad day when you can’t depend on the president’s word.”

Then, she made a rather violent metaphor that compared Trump to a “suicide bomber.”

“My advice would be to Republicans who do cozy up to him–it’s just like hugging a suicide bomber,” she casually remarked. “He blows you up in the process with him.”

Host Craig Melvin chided Jordan for the comment, but she just doubled down:

“If you’re a Republican who went out on a limb and defended Donald Trump over saying, ‘Well he’s got tapes that are gonna back up his point of view,’ you just got blown up too,” she stated.

Watch below:

Jordan may be a “political analyst,” but she clearly doesn’t understand. Trump’s decision to bluff about the Comey tapes is a perfectly legal technique that lawyers have used for centuries to elicit truthful testimonies from their witnesses. Even Abraham Lincoln did it.

Furthermore, can you imagine the uproar if the political affiliations were reversed? If a conservative talking head had ever compared Barack Obama to a terrorist, they would have been fired immediately.

Should MSNBC discipline – or fire – Elise Jordan for her comments? Do you think they would even consider it? Share your thoughts below!
