Trump Mocks Democrats ‘Crazy’ Debate: Just ‘Give Me an Opponent!’

After the Democratic debate in South Carolina Wednesday night, President Trump taunted the presidential candidates for their “crazy, chaotic” debate, blasting the top tier candidates and begging them to “just give me an opponent!”

‘Mini Mike,’ ‘Pocahontas’ and ‘Crazy Bernie’

“Crazy, chaotic Democrat Debate last night,” Trump tweeted. “Fake News said Biden did well, even though he said half of our population was shot to death. Would be OVER for most. Mini Mike was weak and unsteady, but helped greatly by his many commercials (which are not supposed to be allowed….during a debate).”

Trump’s quip about half of America being “shot to death” was his commentary on Biden’s debate gaffe in which he said 150 million people have been killed by guns since 2007. Surely, Biden meant 150,000.

The President then set his sights on Elizabeth “Pocahontas” Warren, along with “Crazy” Bernie Sanders and “Mini” Michael Bloomberg.

“Pocahontas was mean, & undisciplined, mostly aiming at Crazy Bernie and Mini Mike,” Trump tweeted. “They don’t know how to handle her, but I know she is a ‘chocker’. Steyer was a disaster who, along with Mini, are setting records in $’s per vote.”

“Just give me an opponent!” Trump finished.

‘Just give me an opponent!’: Trump Taunts As Democratic Party Remains in Chaos

Trump entertaining himself at the expense of Democrats is happening as party members become more anxious about self-described “democratic socialist” Sanders clinching the nomination. Many Democratic moderates and centrists fear this would spell defeat for no only the White House, but harm their congressional candidates on the November ballot.

Sanders tied with Pete Buttigieg in Iowa and then went on to win the New Hampshire primary and Nevada’s caucuses. While according top most polls, Biden is still in the lead for South Carolina’s primary on Saturday, most surveys also show Sanders catching up.

Biden has long touted his strength with African American voters, and South Carolina will be the first state in the 2020 Democratic primary that has a large black population. Polls have shown Bernie Sanders support rising with black voters in the state as well.

If Joe Biden doesn’t win on Saturday, it will be much harder to see a path forward for his campaign.
