Last night, President Trump had another raucous rally, this time in Indiana. Trump used the opportunity to tout his agenda and all the accomplishments he’s had so far as president. He also stumped for GOP Senate candidate Mike Braun, a favorite to win this November.

In his usual boisterous manner, the President talked about his ongoing agenda with panache:

Trump even trashed the FBI and the Justice Department for not doing their jobs properly. Earlier this week, Trump hinted that he’s getting close to firing Attorney General Jeff Sessions. (RELATED: President Trump Pushing GOP Senators to Ditch Support of Jeff Sessions.)

All of this is to say is that it was a typical Trump rally, with all the theatrics and hard-hitting rhetoric we’ve come to expect from our reality-show president.
However, one thing was missing from the show: mention of the late Senator John McCain, whose funeral is taking place this week in both Arizona and Washington, D.C.
Obviously, Trump and McCain had a sour relationship, and the President wasn’t too keen on issuing plaudits about McCain after his death. (RELATED: President Trump Refuses to Comment on John McCain’s Legacy.)
Trump didn’t mention McCain at all during his rally, possibly sensing the crowd wouldn’t be too fond of the late Senator’s legacy.

Given how conservatives have reacted to McCain’s passing, it may have been a good idea to elide over his funeral during his remarks. Eliciting boos from the crowd by mentioning McCain would not be a good look for anybody.
